A Famous Filipino drag performer, Misua, passed away in a shocking turn of events. She was just 27 and was all set to compete on Drag Race: Philippines, but destiny had other plans, and she died in her sleep. For the unversed, Misua's real name is Jason Elvie Tye, and she was known for her creativity. From her outfits to her hair, she has created a strong fanbase for herself.

Misua's real name was Jason Elvie Ty, and she passed away on April 2, 2026, in her sleep. Her death was reported in the news after a statement from World of Wonder, the production team behind Drag Race, confirmed the sad news. They shared that Misua, a talented Drag Race star, died in a shocking turn of events. The statement read:

"We are heartbroken to share that Misua, a talented queen set to appear on season four of Drag Race Philippines, passed away in her sleep the morning of April 2. She brought light, artistry, and joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed."

It is worth mentioning that the exact cause of Misua's death is not yet made public, and it still remains unclear what happened to the young star. The production has stopped shooting to support the cast and crew during the difficult time. The statement can be read as:
