For the unversed, Jessi Draper, who married Jordan Ngatikaura in 2020, claimed that she was blindsided by her husband filing for a divorce, which she got to learn from the reports on TMZ. Jessi accused Jordan of emotional abuse, and they had a hard time in their marital life.
After everything, it was in early March 2026, when Jordan filed for a divorce from her husband. After that, another incident took place, which sparked a controversy on MomTok. Jessi ended up kissing her co-star, Miranda Hope's ex-husband, Chase McWhorter. Now, Chase made a comment, which didn't go down well with netizens, as well as with his ex-flame.
Taking to her IG handle, Chase dropped a photo with ZoHendrix's song, Seasons. As the song plays, Chase was seen staring at his hands, while the line stated, 'I’ve got the magic in me'. He shared the video with an acronym, 'IYKYK'. This came just after Chase and Jessi Draper's kissing news sparked a controversy. Well, it was his ex-flame, Layla Taylor, who commented and said, 'shut your mouth', while The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Bronwyn Newport wrote:
"Boy, you better stop playing with those girls I love before I bring myself down past point of the mountain."
It was revealed by Us Weekly that Jessi Draper and Chase McWhorter attended a party and ended up kissing each other. The same publication also revealed that there was nothing serious, and the kiss happened at the moment. TMZ also reported the same thing, revealing that the couple kissed in front of a group as they attended a birthday party. Miranda Hope then received flowers and an apology letter from Jessi, who wrote that the former has every right to be upset and that she's sorry. Miranda shared the note on her social media platform.
Miranda also shared a statement with Entertainment Tonight, wherein she revealed that Chase already told her that he and Jessi were in talks, and he also revealed to her that they kissed. As per Miranda, Jessi sent her the apology letter after she knew that Chase had revealed her kissing story with his ex-wife.
Chase and Miranda were married from 2017 to 2024, and they share two children together. In her statement, she revealed that she doesn't have any emotional attachment to her ex-partner, but she highly values him as the father of her children, and she also values her friend and believes in girl code. She could be quoted as saying:
"What I never want to get misconstrued is that there is not any emotional attachment to Chase. He is my coparent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend. Chase and I are no longer partners and while I have a high expectation of him as a coparent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code."
Jordan Ngatikaura and Jessi Draper married in 2020, and they are parents to 3 Kids, Peyton, Jagger, and Jovi. Since their wedding, the couple has been facing hardship in their marital life. They have been through several couples and individual therapies, but it was a few days ago when Jordan filed for a divorce, while stating that his kids are his top priority.
