This is not the first time that Milania has made headlines. A few months ago, the 20-year-old grabbed significant attention after she was taken into custody due to a case of domestic violence and was charged with one count of simple assault. Speaking of the recent incident, Milania was seen lashing out at her mom and sister at the airport, and she also ran away from her family, which led to police involvement in this case.
Teresa recently released a statement and revealed that Milania has been navigating a tough phase. While Teresa mentioned that her daughter lost her two best friends, information about the tragic death of one of Milania's best friends is not known to date. No further information about the second best friend is known, whom Teresa mentioned in the note.
One of Milania's best friends, who recently passed away, was Victoria Zardoya. However, as it seems, by the second best friend, Teresa was referring to Milania's great-grandmother, whom she also lost a few months back.
If the reports are to be believed, Victoria and Milania were lifelong besties. However, it was only a few months ago that Milania lost her close friend. On July 26, Victoria Zardoya passed away after her terrible fall at Fort Dade on Egmont Key, Florida, on July 24, 2026. She was 20 years old as well and was exploring historic ruins at Fort Dade when she had a terrible fall, leading to serious injuries. Following her fall, she was airlifted by medical helicopter to the hospital, where she passed away tragically.
Zardoya's friend, Victoria Silberbusch, revealed what exactly happened on July 24, 2026. In an Instagram post, Victoria Silberbusch said it began as a fun outing but ended in pain for everyone. According to Victoria Silberbusch, they were just getting ready to head to some other place when it happened, and it changed everything forever. Victoria Zardoya suffered fatal injuries due to a devastating fall, and even after everyone tried their best to revive her, they failed.
Speaking about the cause of her death, a report by Us Weekly revealed that Zardoya died accidentally from craniocerebral trauma, which is brain damage caused by a fall, crash, or blow to the head. Teresa Giudice went on to support Milania's 20-year-old bestie's family after her untimely death due to brain injuries.
Taking to her IG handle, Teresa Giudice released a statement in which she revealed the tough phase that Milania has been navigating since her personal loss at such a young age. Teresa further mentioned that currently her focus is on her daughter and making sure that she's surrounded by love and kindness.
The mom of four further requested privacy in this tough time when Milania is navigating pain, as it's not the right time for things to be publicly analysed, as shared by Teresa. A section of her note could be read as:
“The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life. Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends.”
