Mike Vrabel, in a recent press conference, expressed his love for his family and his wife. It has reignited the buzz of his extramarital affair with Dianna Russini.
Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's names had been in a soup of controversy after Page Six released their photos as they were chilling in a pool. While the two initially claimed that it was just a friendly gathering and there were others as well, another set of photos of the two kissing told a different tale. After extreme criticism, Mike Vrabel continues to coach the Patriots, and his recent press conference reignited the talks of his extramarital affair.
At a recent press conference after Mike Vrabel chose to stay out of the spotlight during the NFL Draft, he talked about his family when he was asked how he was balancing personal affairs and football responsibilities. He stated that he has a great family, and went extra sweet while addressing his wife. He was quoted as saying:
"I appreciate [that] my family is great, I love Jen [Vrabel], I love the boys."
While many might believe that Mike Vrabel is fixing his mistake, a section of online users brutally bashed him. One user wrote, "Loves his wife so much he cheated on her for 6 years and then tried to lie his way out of the truth. A true family first kinda guy right there." A second one penned, "I love my wife so much that I banged a married reporter behind her back for at least 6 years."
A third user commented, "The sad part is no reporter will ask him a tough question for fear of being outed...he needs to answer the questions about the affair...put it to rest and move on...otherwise every press conference he does is just a dog and pony show Kobe did it why can't you?" A fourth one said, "He was about to say Dianna too, but caught himself."
Mike Vrabel stayed away from delving futher into the series of events that unfolded online regarding his extramarital affair with Dianna Russini. But online users brutally slammed him for the way he has been trying to brush the controversy under the carpet. A user commented, "I was surprised he remembered his wife's name. (But, when he said he "loved the boys," was he including Dianna Russini's son Mike?)" Another netizen wrote, "Ridiculous question. Do they ask every head coach about their work-life balance?! His personal life and whether he cheated on his wife (he did) is no one's business anyway. That's between them. It has zero bearing on us."
For the unversed, Mike and Dianna have been hanging out socially since 2020. The two had even rented a boat while she was pregnant with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt's first child. For the unversed, Dianna and Keving got married in 2020 and are blessed with two children. On the other hand, Mike Vrabel has been married to Jen Vrabel since 1999, and the couple is blessed with two grown-up children.
While Mike Vrabel has been willingly taking counselling, Dianna Russini has been keeping a low profile. In fact, she has deleted her social media presence by deactivating her X account and making her Instagram private. Recently, a report by The Daily Mail revealed that Dianna is in 'survival mode' as she tries to navigate the after-effects of the shocking leak about her extramarital affair.
A source told the Daily Mail that Dianna's life is all over the place right now, and she has lost a lot of things. Her career has collapsed; she had to hustle to get back to where she was, but there's a question of trust, and the scandal is so big that people won't forget it.
