The duo has been married to their respective partners, and thus, their cosy photos were enough to be linked to an affair.

Dianna stepped down from her position as an NFL insider and reporter, and Mike has been taking counselling for betterment. Now, another allegation on Dianna Russini was made, and it's being thought that she got the inside information on the Titans because of Mike Vrabel.
NFL analyst Austin Stanley recently suggested that it was because of Mike Vrabel that Dianna had gotten inside information in the NFL world. Since the time the controversy around Mike and Dianna began, people started to notice that major reports involving the Titans were during Mike Vrabel's tenure with the team, including the A.J. Brown trade.
As per Austin, such incidents that came to the public attention were the Julio Jones trade from June 2021, the Ryan Tannehill over Tom Brady report from March 2020, and the A.J. trade inside information. While this is only an assumption, people have been connecting dots, sharing that it might have been possible that Dianna got the information through the link of her personal relationship, allegedly with Mike Vrabel. As per Austin:

Brown trade on draft night, a night that is owned every year by Adam Schefter, was extra ammo to back up that assumption. The Titans, as any team would, worked hard to make Brown look like the ‘bad guy’ in the aftermath of the trade for having unreasonable requests. Russini was there with the 'close to $80 million' guaranteed quote."
No sooner did the controversy break out, involving Mike Vrabel, than Dianna Russini remained mostly missing in action. Initially, her old employer, The Athletic, was running an investigation, while the editor and others supported her. She, a few days later, took to her social media handle and revealed that she would step down from her position of NFL insider and reporter at The Athletic. While she said she was grateful for the support from her old employer, she also mentioned that she would never let anyone define her career.
Well, after that, while she was available on social media, some more photos were released by Page Six, wherein Mike was seen kissing her. Soon after, Dianna deactivated all her social media accounts, and there's no official update about her as of now. It was her friend and Fox Sports Radio host Jon "Stugotz" Weiner who revealed having a conversation with Dianna about the current state and added that the former NFL insider is going through a difficult time, but she would survive this. To mention, Jon "Stugotz" Weiner also had a job offer for Dianna.
He said that if the Athletic would fire her, he would have an open place for her to join him and to share her story.
