It so happened that Letterboxd recently released a video of Megan, which was originally recorded in October 2025 and released 11 months later, in October 2026, as part of the channel's Four Favorites segment. While in the video, Megan and Karyn Kusama talked about movies, people recently couldn't talk about anything other than the actress's appearance.
The reason for the chatter was that a certain section of netizens felt that Megan looked simply unrecognizable. This isn't the first time people have talked about Megan's look. Time and again, she got comments claiming that she had ruined her face with surgeries and looked completely different. While not every time, there have been occasions when Megan reacted to the chatter surrounding her.
Plastic surgery buzz is nothing new in the entertainment space, and Megan was also speculated to have gone under the knife. She also admitted that the surgeries she had opted for were not as many as speculated. She also talked about being superstitious when it comes to her surgeries. So, here's what the actress shared about her plastic surgeries.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Megan Fox admitted to having breast surgeries done, not once, but three times. She first got her breast implants in her 20s, then when she was done breastfeeding her kids, and the last one was in 2024. Speaking of the same, Megan Fox, in the podcast, revealed:
"I had them redone after I was done breastfeeding my kids because I don't know where they went, but they went. And then I had to have them redone very recently because the first set — I didn't have enough body fat to disguise. You could see the rippling of the implant. So I had to switch them out to this set.”
When it comes to surgeries, Megan Fox is apparently superstitious. She revealed that she has a fear of 'dying' under general anesthesia, so she makes her doctors meet her before surgeries and asks them about 'bad omens'. Megan explained she questions her doctors about whether they have seen any owls, crows, or stepped on spiders. Megan Fox explained:
"When I go to have a surgery, it's a very big deal, and all my doctors have to meet with me before and have to tell me if they've seen any omens — if they saw any owls, crows, if anyone stepped on a spider, if there were any dead insects."
Megan Fox also got only nose surgery, not many, something that rumors claimed. According to Megan, she got her nose surgery done when she was 23 years old, and since then she hasn't touched her nose.
Megan revealed that while some celebrities choose not to comment on their choice of surgeries, she feels being transparent is okay, since it wouldn't make much of a difference and people would still continue to drop mean comments about her. She also admitted being shocked by some 'cruel' comments she gets, while adding that some of them even come from people like 'women's life coach, crystal healer, or divine feminine'.
Recently, Megan Fox's video sparked a conversation where social media users said that she looked different than her usual self. While the actress hasn't yet reacted to it, the remarks were flooding the comment section, which led the admin to disable them.
Megan hasn't reacted to it yet; however, her fans defended her, stating that when the video was recorded, it was only a few months after she welcomed her baby, and it's natural to gain weight.
