Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie, is trending ever since her debut was confirmed in the music video of What’s a Girl to Do, a music video by K-Pop star, Dayoung. A glimpse of Shiloh in the video was shared by Starship Entertainment through X on April 2, 2026 (ET). The social media post also revealed that the music video is scheduled to arrive on April 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST and 5 a.m. ET.

Shiloh Jolie started her career with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, released back in 2008. The fantasy drama also featured Shiloh’s father, Brad Pitt, in the lead role. According to IMDb, she also gave her voice to 'Shuai Shuai' in Kung Fu Panda 3, released in 2016. Shiloh has been featured in a few more shows, including VH1: All Access and Entertainment Tonight.
As per PEOPLE, Shiloh was supposed to share the screen with her mother, Angelina Jolie, in Maleficent. However, Shiloh refused the offer. Back in 2014, Angelina recalled what exactly happened while speaking to Elle magazine. The actress said that the makers of Maleficent were looking for a child actor who won’t be fazed by the 'Mistress of All Evil.' The role eventually went to Angelina’s second daughter, Vivienne. Angelina recalled how Shiloh dismissed the role and said:
“I asked Shiloh about being Aurora, and she laughed in my face. She said she’d be a horned creature.”
Shiloh Jolie was born in Swakompund, Namibia, in 2006. The news was first confirmed by PEOPLE. Following the birth of Shiloh, local governor, Samuel Nuuyoma, celebrated the occasion, saying that Shiloh’s arrival was an honor for Namibia. Samuel mentioned that the birth of a baby is always considered to be delightful and special in African tradition. Furthermore, a wax figure of Shiloh with her parents standing alongside her was revealed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York City.
Apart from being featured in some films and TV shows, Shiloh Jolie has been a dancer. She spends most of her time at the Movement Lifestyle Studio, practicing her moves. Shiloh has frequently worked with choreographer, Lil Kelaan Carter, who had once shared a video featuring Jolie through Instagram in May 2024. Shiloh was spotted with short hair in the video. Moreover, Shiloh has even supported her mother, Angelina Jolie, during her philanthropic activities. Shiloh accompanied Angelina when the latter went to Turkey and Lebanon on the occasion of World Refugee Day in 2015.
Back in May 2024, Shiloh Jolie created headlines when she filed to remove Pitt from her surname. She was initially known as Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. The news was first revealed by PEOPLE. The outlet obtained the legal documents, which stated that Angelina Jolie’s daughter was seeking to be known as Shiloh Jolie. A month after Shiloh filed to drop Pitt from her surname, an insider claimed that Brad Pitt was upset about the same. The source told PEOPLE that Brad wanted a daughter and that he was very happy when Shiloh was born. The insider added:
“The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”
The source added that Brad loves all of his children. Notably, Shiloh is not Brad and Angelina’s only child to be known by a different name. Vivienne was previously referred to as Vivienne Jolie in the musical, The Outsiders, in May 2024. Brad and Angelina have been the parents of four more children, including Maddox, Zahara, Pax, and Knox. Pitt and Jolie first met in 2003 and got engaged around nine years later in 2012. The duo exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2014. The pair separated in 2014, and the divorce was finalised in 2024.
