In fact, she also sent messages of encouragement to the South African national team.

Jayden Adams reportedly used to value Aqueelah's opinion on his important life decisions. He even consulted her and their daughter before completing his move to Mamelodi Sundowns in January 2025.

Less than 24 hours before Jayden Adam's death, both he and Aqueelah shared each other's pictures on social media. These posts have now become the couple's final public moments together. In fact, many fans have now shared emotional reactions over the same.
After Jayden's death was confirmed, Aqueelah returned to social media and shared a heartfelt tribute to him. She expressed her gratitude for the memories they shared and called him "the love of her life". The emotional message has now gone viral on social media. Sharing her heartbreak, she penned:
"There are no words to describe the pain I'm feeling. Rest in peace, my love. Thank you for every memory, every laugh, every hug, and every moment we shared. You were not only the love of my life but also my greatest supporter and my best friend."
Meanwhile, Jayden's teammate, Kutlwano Letlhaku, also shared a touching message for Aqueelah, encouraging her to stay strong. The post highlighted the close-knit football community that has stood around Jayden's family after the tragedy.

Until now, the authorities have not confirmed Jayden's exact cause of death to the public. But, some reports claim that his body was found on Military Road in Schotsche Kloof, Cape Town. According to reports. Jayden had faced a difficult period after the death of his grandmother, Marianna Adams, while he was on South Africa's World Cup campaign. However, the officials have not confirmed if it is related to his death.
On the other hand, South Africa's Sports Minister, Gayton McKenzie, called Jayden one of the country's brightest young football talents. The country's Football Players Union also said they were devastated by the loss of a player who proudly represented South Africa on the world stage.
