Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleJason Momoa is currently hogging the spotlight after he was recently spotted at the Supergirl London event. What made his red carpet appearance even more special is that the actor decided to bring his two kids along with him. For those unaware, he welcomed his daughter, Lola Lolani, and son, Nakoa-Wolf with his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet. Well, if you are curious to know more about Jason Momoa's children, we have got you covered.
Jason Momoa and his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet, welcomed their first child, daughter, Lola Lolani Momoa, on July 21, 2007. According to reports, the actor wanted to honour his Hawaiian roots with her middle name, Lolani, which means “royal hawk.” During a 2019 interview, Jason shared that he came very close to being absent when Lola was born. This is because he was filming a movie in Canada when Lisa's water broke. He said:
“I missed about seventy calls. And I woke up and freaked [out]. Luckily, he was able to get the last seat on a flight home. I made it in the nick of time. I had about two hours with [Lisa] in the tub, and my baby girl was born."
In another interview a year later, Jason opened up about being a girl dad. He revealed that when Lola turned 13 years old, the thought of her dating made him scared. He even said that he would hate it if she ever brought home “some dips–t bad boy.” According to the Game of Thrones star, Lola is a huge fan of sitcoms and especially enjoys watching Friends. Jason said that it was a trip to see Lola watching the same show that he did as a kid.
It was on December 15, 2008, that Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet welcomed their son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, who is also known as Wolfie. As was the case for his daughter, Lola, Jason once again chose a name which is representative of his Hawaiian culture for his son. For those who don't know, Nakoa means “warrior”, while his first middle name, Manakauapo, reflects the dark and rainy weather conditions when he was born. Interestingly, Nakoa's second middle name, Namakaeha, is the same as Jason Momoa's middle name. Opening up about what kind of father he wanted to be to his son, Jason said in an interview:
"I didn't know what it takes to be a dad. And I don't want to just tell my son, 'Because I said so.' I really want to connect, and I want him to be vulnerable and open."
In 2021, Jason Momoa starred in the movie, Dune where the actor used his time on screen to send a message to his son, Nakoa-Wolf. In an interview, Jason admitted that he had to undergo martial arts training for his action scenes in the movie, including Kali. However, he said that even though he never really learned that, his son does Kali. Jason shared:
"There's definitely these intimate moments where I'm signalling to my son. That's a Kali move, where you put your hand on your heart and put it on your head. That's to Timothée in the movie, but that's to my son in real life."
On June 18, 2026 (ET), Jason Momoa was joined by his kids at the Supergirl premiere in London. He was joined by his two kids, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. Lola looked stunning as she chose to wear a strapless black dress paired with wired headphones and a red bag. Meanwhile, Nakoa-Wolf wore black slacks and a black vest, accessorising his look with a black beaded necklace and a silver chain.
