Jamie Lee Curtis has recently lost her sister, Kelly Curtis. Also an actress, Kelly was popular for being featured on TV shows like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The Sentinel. A report by Page Six on June 1, 2026, stated that Kelly died of natural causes. The news of Kelly’s death was first shared by Jamie on May 20, 2026, through Instagram, revealing that she passed away during the morning hours.
For the unversed, Jamie Lee Curtis has five siblings. While Kelly was born to her parents, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, the remaining four were born from the other marriages of her late father. Keep reading to know more about Jamie’s siblings!
Jamie Lee Curtis had a brother named Nicholas. He was active in the music industry and was a resident of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. However, Nicholas passed away after a heroin overdose in 1994. He was 23 years old at the time of his death. Notably, Jamie’s father also had a history of addiction problems, which allegedly included a longtime use of opiates. While speaking about Nicholas on Morning Joe, Jamie said:
“He was clean and sober, and he went out and used one time and died from an overdose. He is one of millions and millions of people whose lives have been extinguished because of addiction.”
Apart from Nicholas, Jamie Lee Curtis has another brother named Ben. He is a resident of Maine and has been living in the place for a long time with his partner and their three children. Notably, Ben has pursued a career as a bar manager. He is additionally active as a design consultant and is an expert in giving a new look to bars.
Ben used to live at a Bel Air mansion during his early days with Nicholas. However, the brothers left the place when their parents separated in 1982. The duo eventually shifted to Cape Cod. Ben once recalled in an interview with The Courier-Gazette in 2023 that their lifestyle changed after their parents split. But Ben opened up a little bit about the time he spent with his father decades ago and said:
“When I was 12, I stayed at the Playboy Mansion for a week. My dad and Hugh Hefner were very good friends. I visited the mansion from age 7 to age 20, for different things, for parties. We’d go screen movies on Sundays. That’s the hype of hangout I had with my father.”
Born in 1964 to Tony Curtis and his second wife, Christine Kaufmann, Alexandra has also been active in the entertainment industry for a brief period. She played an uncredited role in the 1972 film, The Death of Maria Malibran. She has been featured in other projects like The Excluded, The Gold of Love, and Inflation im Paradies.
On the other hand, Christine and Tony had another daughter, Allegra, in 1966. The 59-year-old has worked in the costume and wardrobe department of the film, Joe Versus the Volcano, in 1990. She has also been a makeup artist on other projects, including I’m Losing You, The Maddening, My Father the Hero, and Jake and the Fatman. Allegra has many other titles to her credit as an actress, such as The Gold of Love, Killing Blue, Guns, Kabel und Liebe, Internet Love, Crossed, and more.
As mentioned, Kelly Curtis was also active in the same field as her sisters. She made her acting debut in 1958 with The Vikings, where she portrayed an uncredited role. She later started appearing in other famous projects. In 1986, she was cast as 'Vicki' in an episode of The Equalizer. She was a part of many other television movies, like Kojak: Ariana, Thanksgiving Day, False Arrest, and Search and Rescue.
