Elizabeth Olsen has been at the centre of the pregnancy buzz since her recent appearance. Amid that, let's take a look at her husband and their marriage.
Elizabeth Olsen has been making headlines ever since she was seen out in Los Angeles with her husband, Robbie Arnett. The couple, who is known for keeping their personal lives private, created a stir when Olsen appeared to flaunt a 'baby bump' in a large blue shirt. While fans wait for the couple to confirm the news, they have shown growing interest in their personal lives.
The couple tied the knot before the COVID-19 pandemic and announced their marriage in 2022. Now, almost four years later, the couple might be expecting their first child. So, as fans wait for Elizabeth Olsen to confirm the news, let's take a look at her husband, Robbie Arnett and their marriage.
Robbie Arnett is a member of a band named Milo Green. The Los Angeles-based band, featuring a trio of singer-songwriters, released their debut album in 2012, followed by 2015's Control and 2018's Adult Contemporary. In an interview with NPR, Arnett spoke about his band's unusual name and revealed:
"We wanted a booking agent, a manager, so we created a Gmail and started sending people emails, calling people, on behalf of Milo Greene."
The fake agent ruse helped them secure more gigs, and soon Milo Greene was officially adopted as the band's name. It was in 2017 when Robbie Arnett and Elizabeth Olsen were first together. In August 2017, Olsen even gave Arnett's band a sweet shoutout during her appearance on Sway in the Morning, saying, "My boyfriend's in a cool band."
As a member of Milo Greene, Robbie Arnett was featured on several late-night talk shows in 2012, including The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and later performed on Conan O'Brien's TBS show in 2015. The band has also appeared in films, including the 2013 movie, Fun Size, 2020's The F**k It List, the Netflix series, The Santa Clarita Diet and the TV series, Supernatural, among others.
Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett made their debut in September 2017 at the Gersh pre-Emmys party in Los Angeles. The pair first sparked rumours in March 2017, when they were spotted strolling in New York City. During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden in May 2018, Olsen revealed she had moved in with Arnett. She was quoted as saying, "Yeah, we live together...It already happened."
After two years of being spotted together, Robbie Arnett got down on one knee and proposed to Elizabeth Olsen with an emerald engagement ring. A source confirmed the news to PEOPLE in July 2019 that the musician had popped the question after three years of dating, and Olsen was spotted wearing the stunning ring while grocery shopping with Arnett shortly after.
According to Variety, after the filming of WandaVision, Olsen and Arnett moved to London in 2021 to work on Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The couple allegedly fell in love with their new British home. During an appearance on the podcast, Table Manners with Jessie Ware, Olsen reflected on their relationship and move to the United States and stated:
"I'm with my man-guy-partner, and we're in Richmond. He's a writer, he's a musician. He started just writing, like normal writing, not music. And so, he can do that here, so we're living this British dream in this house in Richmond right by the water."
Both Robbie Arnett and Elizabeth Olsen are extremely private about their personal lives and have even stayed away from social media, despite being such big stars. While Arnett has an active Instagram account, the musician rarely posts updates. In fact, Arnett currently has only one post on his feed, a clip of Olsen promoting their children's book on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While Olsen previously had an Instagram account, she deleted it in 2020, and later told Glamour UK that she was "never going back". She was quoted as saying:
"[I thought] Wait, why am I even trying to create a character version of myself and put it out in the world?. And so during the pandemic, I was like, 'Oh, this is just not for me,' and I just got rid of it."
In 2018, Robbie Arnett and Elizabeth Olsen partnered with the nonprofit organisation, The Latitude Project to host a trip to Nicaragua. Olsen has been involved with the organisation for years and had previously travelled to Nicaragua to help paint a preschool that the nonprofit had built. In a joint interview shared on the organisation's Instagram, the couple discussed their visit, with Arnett saying:
"It was my first trip to Nicaragua, and it was incredibly powerful … It was humbling, and it was something that I'll never forget."
