Now, if you are interested in knowing Claudia Doumit’s husband, Jack Quaid, we’ve got you covered.
Jack Quaid was born on April 24, 1992, to renowned actors, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. When he was just 5 years old, his parents, Meg and Dennis, parted ways. For the uninitiated, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid got divorced in 1997. Just like other star kids, Jack also grew up in the limelight. He made his acting debut with a minor role in the American dystopian film, The Hunger Games. Jack rose to fame with his portrayal of 'Hughie Campbell', in the superhero series, The Boys.
A decade ago, on the Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss podcast, Jack Quaid got candid about her parents, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid’s divorce. He shared that when his parents parted ways in 1997, he was at a weird age. He was old enough to understand that something serious was happening, and also too young to process the whole thing maturely. Before Meg and Dennis were famous, their split was very public. The then-little boy, Jack, thus couldn’t escape. Jack mentioned that it was so very hard to ignore. He was quoted as saying:
"It’s one of those weird ages for your parents to get divorced. You’re old enough to know what’s going on, but young enough to be kind of naive about it. It’s a whole deal. It’s hard to ignore when you’re at a grocery story and you’re checking out, and you look at magazines, and there’s a photo of them with a little paper rip graphic between them."
During the same conversation, Jack shared that it was a hard deal to handle with his parents’ highly-publicised divorce. He also admitted that his upbringing was not normal since he grew up in the limelight. Jack highlighted that although his upbringing was not a normal one, his parents, Meg and Dennis, were just mom and dad to him at home. Jack added that both Meg and Dennis didn’t play any kind of characters when they were at home and were only parents to him. Jack was quoted as saying:
"It’s a hard deal. I acknowledge fully that the way that I grew up was not normal. But at the same time, it was normal in the sense that despite what my parents do, they are still a mom and a dad. It’s not like they are their characters at the dinner table or anything like that."
During the same conversation, Jack got candid about growing up with celebrity parents, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. The Boys fame shared that he never wanted to escape the stardom built by his parents. Jack mentioned that he is a big fan of both Meg and Dennis’ works. Jack highlighted that although he faced comparisons, he took them in a positive way and found them interesting. He was quoted as saying:
"It’s not like I want to escape from it. I’m a huge fan of both of their work – really, I’m a big fan. The thing that’s nice about it, something that I’m really grateful to have, is that they share this enthusiasm for telling stories and acting. It’s always going to be kind of in the air. At this point, yeah people might make comparisons, and I also get that it’s interesting."
