Social media influencer, Malvika Sitlani opened up about receiving backlash from internet users for recording her birth story.
Popular fashion influencer, Malvika Sitlani is living the most beautiful phase of her life. The newbie mommy has been on cloud nine ever since, she welcomed her baby girl, Abigail into her life. For the unversed, Malvika embraced motherhood after she welcomed her daughter on May 10, 2023. Moreover, being an avid social media user, the doting mommy has been sharing some priceless glimpses of her baby girl with her fans. And now, Malvika opened up about her delivery and the birth story.
On July 6, 2023, Malvika Sitlani took to her Instagram stories and opened up about her birth video. Talking about the same, the newbie mommy mentioned that filming her birth video was the most natural thing for her. She also stated that she had planned on having a water birth. She also stated that the process of labouring in water was intense for her. Malvika also revealed that she wanted to record her delivery because she was not going to experience the moment again in her life. Mentioning how Abigail is going to be her first and last child, Malvika said:
"I did filmed my birth, I feel like it was the very natural thing for me to do. And also, we like to do it creatively, because Jake and I knew that we wanted to film the birth because I told you I was planning on having a water birth. And the process of labouring in water was so intense and I wanted it captured because I know I am never doing it again because its my one and only, one and done baby."

Malvika further revealed that her labour and birth video is all about love. It shows so many emotions, and it's just wholesome. Malvika then revealed that her brother, Jake Sitlani recorded her birth video. The newbie mommy stated that she couldn't have asked any other person to record her birth video. She then addressed the trolls she received on her birth video and said there was nothing to be surprised about.
On July 5, 2023, Malvika had posted a glimpse of her birth video on her IG handle. In the video, the then-to-be mommy looked intense as she went through the process of water birth. However, she had deleted the video, after she received backlash from internet users. A section of internet users had even called her video scary. One of the users had commented, "Sharing your life is one thing, involving children who have no say because you are unfortunately the guardian is worst. These cows milk their kids!" Another one had written, "Why is there a home/water birth kinda scene happening if she gave birth at a hospital?"

For the unversed, it was on June 15, 2023, when Malvika had open shared a few IG stories and talked about her delivery. Further, the diva shared that her healing journey has been long and she has been getting her antibiotics through IV. Malvika further added that she had a normal delivery and not a C-section. However, she had a surgical incision, which is called episiotomy.
