Malaika Arora's Scarlett House Features India's First Hydration Bar With Rs. 350 Anti-Ageing Water

Recently, Malaika Arora gave a tour of her luxurious restaurant, Scarlett House, which includes an anti-ageing infused water.

Bollywood actress, Malaika Arora, who is well known for her charming screen presence, amazing dressing sense and fitness has successfully entered the world of hospitality with her luxury restaurant, Scarlett House. While the first restaurant was first opened in December 2024, the actress recently shared the interiors of her restaurant. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant is built in a restored bungalow in Pali Village.

Malaika Arora’s restaurant is spread across 2,500 square feet

Malaika Arora's Scarlett House is spread across 2,500 square feet inside a beautifully restored 90-year-old Indo-Portuguese bungalow in Bandra’s Pali Village. One of the best parts about the restaurant is its interior. The restaurant includes old wooden beams and doors, high ceilings and wide windows. Scarlett House also includes vintage armchairs, wooden tables, sofas and more.

According to the photos shared by Malaika on her Instagram, the restaurant also features antique showpieces, vintage crockery, handmade ceramics, artisanal plates and decorative lamps. The interior of the restaurant is divided into multiple spaces including a coffee bar area, wine and dining space and a quiet sitting area. Overall, the restaurant screams royalty.

Scarlett House also includes India’s first hydration bar

Apart from the interior of Scarlett House, the restaurant is also grabbing attention as it features India's first Hydration Bar. For the unversed, it is a wellness concept, which is designed to address concerns like fatigue, immunity, skin health and recovery. The Hydration Bar includes a bottle of 'anti ageing' infused water, which is priced at Rs. 350. The menu also includes a few special smoothies and wellness beverages that are made for health benefits. Reportedly, there is also a cold-pressed juice, which helps in hair strengthening.

Scarlett House serves masala khichdi for Rs. 550

Talking about the menu of Malaika’s restaurant, it includes both fancy dishes as well as comfort food items. Reportedly, the restaurant has space for 100 people and its menu includes masala khichdi costing Rs. 550, avocado toast at Rs. 625, and a vegetarian fig & burrata bliss salad priced at Rs. 720. "The food is inspired by things I love to eat in my kitchen and on my travels. In fact, my team is convinced it should be called Mala’s Specialist. They have curated a cocktail menu that’s fun, thoughtful, and full of stories in every sip. We also have India’s first hydration bar that you must check out."

Malaika Arora co-owns the restaurant with her son, Arhaan Khan

It is worth mentioning that Malaika Arora co-owns Scarlett House with her son, Arhaan Khan and restaurateur, Dhaval Udeshi and Malaya Nagpal. Their decision to launch the restaurant comes from their shared love for food, travel and hospitality. During the same interview with Architectural Digest, Malaika shared her views on opening the restaurant and said:

"It all started with the germ of an idea about building the next coolest café, and it was love at first sight with the first site we visited. We were enthralled by the charm of this quaint red Portuguese gem in the winding lanes of Bandra – visually and emotionally, it couldn’t be better for us. And needless to say, this structure became the inspiration for the name Scarlett House."
