Looks like there is no scope for reconciliation between Arbaaz Khan and his wife Malaika Arora Khan.

Reportedly, Malaika's brother-in-law Salman Khan tried to patch up the things between Arbaaz and Malaika. In a last ditch effort, he called up his sister-in-law to make her understand that ending the marriage of almost two decades is not a good idea. But seems like Malaika has now made up her mind. Well, if reports are to be believed, Malaika in a closed door meeting with her lawyer has asked to include these 3 specific things in her divorce petition:

I want to divorce Arbaaz because our marriage has failed to give me any financial stability.

My husband and his family want that I start leading a simple and domestic life, which I will not.

I shall never forbid my son from meeting his father after the divorce, but I should get his custody at any cost whatsoever.

Now, these are some hefty claims Malaika has made regarding the Khan family. However, Malaika's sister, actress Amrita Arora added more fuel to the fire with her statement which more or less confirmed the duo's separation.

Upon being asked about the rumours surrounding her sister and Arbaaz Khan's divorce, Amrita Arora had this to say:

" They are mature to take their own decisions."
