She inspired many ladies to step out of their unhappy relationship and choose their happiness as she had ended her 18-years long marriage with Arbaaz Khan and had dropped her ‘Khan’ surname. It was said that one of the reasons for Malaika and Arbaaz’s divorce was her closeness with Arjun Kapoor.

After keeping silent for the longest time, Malaika had accepted her relationship with actor, Arjun Kapoor on his 34th birthday. On June 26, 2019, Malaika had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with Arjun. She had captioned it as “Happy birthday my crazy, insanely funny and amazing @arjunkapoor love and happiness always". It’s been years since Malaika and Arjun's relationship had began and it feels like the two have already become a part of each other’s families and their wedding will be just a formality.
It’s been almost 1.5 years since Arjun and Malaika have made their relationship public and their fans cannot wait to see them get married. Their wedding reports often hit the headlines, however, never any of them came true. This time, Malaika’s recent IG post has created a buzz about her engagement with her boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor. The actress posted pictures, flaunting a huge radiant cut ring in layered squoval shape, leaving her fans amused. Her hashtags like #engagementrings #Bride #SheSaidYes and caption, “How dreamy is this Ring, love love love it Happiness Starts Here!!!” lead to her engagement speculations. However, the actress was simply advertising for an engagement ring brand.
While Malaika looked radiant in a nude-shaded top, her fans started congratulating her. While one user wrote, “Congratulations Looking very gorgeous as always @malaikaaroraofficial ma'am and Best of luck for your future with @arjunkapoor sir,” other user commented, “@arjunkapoor buy the ring!!” Some also tried to troll Malaika for the age gap between her and her beau, Arjun.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, talking about the age difference between her and Arjun, Malaika had stated, "The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in a relationship. It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time." She had further added, "An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a buddhi (old). For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***."

Arjun Kapoor, in an interview with the DNA, had commented on his wedding with Malaika Arora. Sharing that he is in no hurry to get married, the Panipat actor had said, “No, I am not. I’m 33 and you have to take my word when I say, I’m in no hurry to get married.” He had also added that if he was getting married, people would not know that and not make any speculations. He had retorted, “The subject of my wedding is not something that I would like to talk about. Frankly, if I was tying the knot, people would know about it. Today, nothing stays or needs to be hidden beyond a point.”

In the picture, we could see the duo looking adorable as they had posed for the camera.
