For those who do not know, Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal joined the military after clearing the National Defence Academy exam in 2013. In turn, he joined the NDA in 2024 and earned an agreement in International Relations and Affairs before he joined the Indian Military Academy. After his commission into the Indian Army, he built an impressive career at a young age, taking on many challenging assignments.
One important moment that brought him into the spotlight was when Rishabh led the Jat Regiment Contingent during the Republic Day Parade in 2021. It made him earn the prestigious Best Marching Contingent Trophy for his unit.
His also served with the elite 4 Para (Special Forces), one of the Army's most respected units. During his time with the unit, he earned the prestigious Balidaan Badge, an honour awarded only to a select number of Special Forces volunteers. Later, he was selected for the prestigious role of an ADC to the President of India. Since then, he worked closely with President Droupadi Murmu at official engagements, diplomatic visits and ceremonial events in India and abroad. He also earned the Presidential Service Badge and commendation cards from Senior Army Leadership for his duty.
