A promo video of Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's show, Ladies v/s Gentlemen Season 2's latest episode, is doing rounds on the internet. And, it has irked Jay Bhanushali's fans after Jasmin Bhasin made a controversial remark on his wife, Mahhi Vij. In the video, Jasmin can be seen telling Jay that it is his 'misfortune' to have a wife like Mahhi. She said, “Yeh apni biwi ki frustration iss show pe utaarta hai. Teri badkismati hai teri biwi aisi hai.” The video ends with Jay's shocking expressions to Jasmin's comments, after which many people started lashing out at the actress for her irresponsible remarks.
However, soon, Jasmin Bhasin took to her Twitter handle and opened up about her remarks about Mahhi Vij during her argument with her husband, Jay Bhanushali, on the show, Ladies v/s Gentlemen Season 2. The ever-so-bubbly actress wrote, "To the people writing about my remark on Mahi on @FlipkartVideo show, it was a fun and funny remark jo hum mazaak mein bol rahe they (which was said in jest) because Jay and I were in a debate and unfortunately it was a bad edit. I absolutely love Jay and Mahi. Best couple I know and I just love them" in her tweet.

After Jasmin Bhasin's clarification on Twitter, Jay Bhanushali's wife, Mahhi Vij, quoted her tweet and reacted to the comments made by the actress against her publicly. However, Mahhi's reaction was rather surprising for some people, as she stated that she was not bothered at all by Jasmin's remarks. Mahhi’s tweet can be read as “Tu meri jaan tu kuch bhi bol sakti hai. Haq hai tera mujhpe tara ki.” The controversial matter was settled by Mahhi Vij in a pretty impressive manner, as she wasn't bothered by the trolls who had tried their best to inject fuel in Jasmin's statement on Jay Bhanushali's wife.
