Lokesh Kangaraj has been married to Aishwarya for a decade. The filmmaker was asked if he wanted a second family, to which he gave a befitting reply.
Filmmaker, Lokesh Kangaraj recently held a press conference where he spoke about everything. Right from his last movie, Coolie with Rajnikanth, to his next film with Allu Arjun. Lokesh is someone who likes to keep his personal life guarded. However, a reporter did not spare him in the event and asked him whether he wanted a second family. Lokesh kept his calm and answered the question intelligently. For the unversed, Lokesh is married to Aishwarya and is the father of two daughters.
Lokesh Kangaraj created a name for himself with Vikram starring- Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya. The director is extremely guarded about his private life and uses his words wisely. However, at his latest press conference, a reporter took the initiative to ask Lokesh a personal question. The reporter asked him, "Lokesh, on social media, there is chatter about your love story with an actress. Are you going to be family?” The director kept his calm and responded:
"No, sir. I already have a family.”
The reporter did not stop there but went and asked, "Second family". Lokesh decided not to answer the follow-up question and ended the press conference there. Netizens were upset with the question asked to Lokesh in the press meeting. One angry user on X wrote, "Reporter's stu*** question: We are hearing that you are in love with an Actress & going to have a 2nd family soon. Is it true? #LokeshKanagaraj: No. I already have a family. Not sure why Loki took it casually. Ment*** like this should be sla**ed on spot." Another user called the behaviour as cheap. A third user noted, "These so-called journalists didn’t even know he was married and has kids." A fumed user also expressed, "That's really bad and very cheap, and yet he stayed so calm. This is not funny."
It has been a decade since Lokesh Kangaraj married Aishwarya. He might have made many action movies, but the director is surely a romantic person at heart. Lokesh met his wife, Aishwarya, back when he was a teenager. Reportedly, the pair dated for 12 years before they got engaged on September 15, 2011. It was on January 8, 2012, when the couple tied the knot. The couple then welcomed Adhvika and Aarudhra Lokesh, their adorable angels in their lives.
For the unversed, Lokesh was always fond of movies, and because of his passion, he left his banking job, which reportedly paid him Rs. 70,000 monthly. Lokesh then went into directing, but there was a time when Aishwarya took up a job for a few months. This was because after their daughter was born, Aishwarya supported Lokesh financially, but then, when he became big in the Tamil movie industry, everything changed.
Lokesh has always credited his wife, Aishwarya, for supporting him when he had taken a break. Aishwarya then devoted herself to the family when Lokesh made it big in the movie industry. Lokesh's movie, Coolie was well received by the fans as it had superstar Rajinikanth. There were earlier reports that he had unfollowed Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. However, the director squashed all reports related to the same.
