The show witnessed a heated confrontation between West, his girlfriend, Amanda Batula, and his ex-girlfriend, Ciara Miller. West’s ex openly expressed her frustration related to West and Amanda’s relationship, which came as a surprise announcement in March 2026, leading to a mixed response on various platforms.

In an episode of his podcast, Show Me Something, West Wilson said that he is expecting the New York Knicks to lose their fifth game at the NBA finals, scheduled on June 13, 2026. Notably, a bonus episode of Summer House, titled Aftermath, is arriving on June 16, 2026, and a loss for the Knicks would mean that both teams will return to Madison Square Garden for a potential sixth game on the same day.
West commented on the game, expecting that people won’t watch the bonus episode of Summer House at the same time. Lindsay Hubbard criticised West Wilson on Threads on June 14, 2026. She shared two posts, starting with a statement, where she described West as “trash,” referring to what he said on the podcast. Lindsay then wrote on another post:
“Brother, you get paid for that episode. Just be thankful you still have a paycheck from our show.”
West Wilson commented on the NBA finals when he was speaking to his co-host, Sophie Cunningham. As of this writing, West has not responded to the posts shared by Linsday Hubbard.
The announcement of the Summer House bonus episode arrived a few weeks after the end of the Summer House Season 10 reunion. West Wilson referred to the same while speaking on his podcast, Show Me Something. West said that he was expecting to relax after the end of the reunion, and while things were slowly going back to normal, he discovered that a bonus episode was on the way.
West Wilson then addressed the fifth game between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs, saying that things are going to be different if the Spurs emerge as the winner in the end. He said that the sixth game will air at the same time as the bonus episode arrives. West continued by saying:
“Give me fucking Knicks at 6 at the same time as this shit on TV. I will be the happiest person in the motherfucking world. I swear to God, give me Spurs Saturday and the Knicks on fucking Tuesday night, and we will pop champagne on this fucking podcast Wednesday.”
Although West expected the Knicks to lose the game, the results turned out to be different. The Knicks defeated the Spurs in the fifth game, with Jalen Brunson leading the team towards victory. The Summer House bonus episode was confirmed on June 10, 2026, by Bravo. They even released a glimpse of the same, which featured the conversations between the participants following the shoot of the reunion that happened in April 2026.
