In an interview with PEOPLE, Lauren addressed the fact that she has reconciled with Kristin, stating that it was a part of proving that they have grown up now as adults, and this is the point where no one is concerned about the small things that happened in the past. Kristin also expressed her satisfaction with the problems no longer existing between her and Lauren. The first season of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County became a topic of discussion in 2004 for three cast members - Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti. Kristin was Stephen’s girlfriend at that time, and the situation took a different turn when the spring break episode of the show arrived a month after the premiere of the reality series. The spring break episode featured Kristin and Stephen having a fight, where the former decided to be with another person. The dispute created headlines when Lauren and Stephen used an inappropriate word towards Kristin.
Six years after the premiere of the show, Kristin Cavallari revealed during an interview with Us Weekly in 2010 that she had seen Lauren Conrad at a wrap party of The Hills. Lauren was brought in as a replacement for Kristin on the show in 2009. Kristin claimed, while speaking to Us Weekly, that things were fine between her and Lauren, adding that she does not have Conrad’s contact number. The first episode featured Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who asked Kristin to choose between Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth if she had to spend a night in prison. Although Kristin responded that she hates Lo, she later explained in an interview with Us Weekly that everything was fine between her and Bosworth.
