Kunickaa Sadanand opened up about breaking down after Farah Khan called her a control freak on 'Bigg Boss 19'.
Bollywood veteran actress, Kunickaa Sadanand's participation in Bigg Boss 19 created a lot of buzz as she openly discussed her past relationships. Apart from it, Kunickaa's outspoken and bold nature made her get into a lot of ugly fights. However, during the third week of the show, she was slammed and bashed by Farah Khan for trying to control everyone in the house.
For the unversed, it was on the third Weekend Ka Vaar, when Farah Khan took the host's chair, and bashed Kunickaa Sadanand. She slammed her for trying to control everyone in the house and making mean remarks about Tanya Mittal's upbrining. After the show concluded, Farah Khan visited Kunickaa's home to shoot for her YouTube channel. During their interaction, Farah apologised to Kunickaa for calling her a control freak. Farah revealed that somehow she was the main topic of that week. Kunickaa revealed that she cried after the episode. She was quoted as saying:
"Main royi zarur thi (I did cry). Then I asked Bigg Boss to call me to the confession room. Mujhe pasand nahi aaya ki meri kitchen ki caring ko leke iss tarah se comment kiya gaya. You said that I was looking like a control freak."
Kunickaa revealed that afterwards she realised that she had always shown so much love to people that they became suffocated with her love. So, she changed herself and realised that people in her family must have felt suffocated due to it. She shared:
"So then I realised, main zindagi bhar logon pe itna pyaar daal deti hoon ki woh suffocate ho jaate hain. So I cut it. I realised you were right. I realised that even in my family, people must have felt suffocated."
For the unversed, Farah replaced Salman Khan as the host during the third week of the reality show. So, during the episode, she slammed Kunickaa for questioning Tanya Mittal's upbringing and dragging her mother. She also expressed shock after she had taken food from Zeishaan Quadri's plate. Farah called Kunickaa a control freak in the kitchen matters.
In the show, Bigg Boss 19 Kunickaa Sadanand recalled her marriage with Abhay Kothari that ended in an ugly divorce, followed by an intense legal battle for their son. Kunickaa was 20 years old when she got married to Abhay. While speaking with co-contestant Farhana Bhatt, Kunickaa recalled her early struggles. She shared that she had a tough custody battle. She fought for 9 years to get the legal custody of her son. She was working in Mumbai and would rush to the Delhi court.
However, one day, Kunickaa stated that her son told her to give up, as his studies would be affected if they kept fighting for custody in court. After which, she stated that she won't fight the custody battle for her son. Kunickaa was quoted as saying:
"Mai 9 saal apne bete ke liye ladi. Yaha kamaati thi Bombay mein, fir bhaag gayi Delhi court. Fir usne mujhe ek din bola 'Mumma, please aap dono me se koi toh give up karo, warna meri padhai ek dum kharab hojayegi' Tab maine bola ki mai nahi ladungi."
