Well, as per a recent report, Bryon reached out to a dominatrix, even after the controversy. Yes! Recently, a dominatrix revealed that Kristi's husband spent USD 45K on her, over the course of 9 years. Recently, in an interview on the podcast, UNCLOSETED with Spencer Macnaughton, a dominatrix named, Shy Sotomayor revealed that Bryon recently reached out to her again in the last month, i.e. after his bombification fetish was exposed online.
Bryon dropped a text to Shy back in May 2026, and said that, 'I have been a bad boy'. Sotomayor said that she received the text on WhatsApp when reports revealed that Bryon was in a rehab for treatment of his bombification addiction. According to Shy, she called him 'sick' as a reply, while adding that either he doesn't know how to stop or he seriously has an issue.
Bryon and Shy have been together for several years, and as per her, he has spent USD 45K on her throughout this course of time. According to Shy, he was a loose cannon and wouldn't even care if he got caught. Shy revealed in the interview that there have been several moments when she warned him and questioned him about being caught, but he, on the other hand, said that he didn't even care about the same. Shy said that one day, when she was talking to Bryon, his wife, Kristi, entered the room and confronted him by asking who he was talking to. Shy could be quoted as saying:
"He either doesn’t know when to quit … or this is a real issue for him. Any time I talked to him and was like, ‘Hey, you know, people could find us out,’ you know, because he was talking about meeting in person … He was like, ‘I don’t care.' He just did not care about the consequences. It was a normal conversation, and all I heard was, ‘Who are you talking to?’”
Byron and Shy crossed paths in 2016 and have been together till 2020. After that, Bryon cut contact with Shy abruptly, and she got to know later that his wife became a secretary. In 2025, Bryon reportedly took a U-turn to the dominatrix. Some screenshots also surfaced on social media, where Byron made some comments, comparing Shy to his wife, Kristi and calling her better than her. It was in March when Shy discovered his identity and cut him off, as shared by her to the Daily Mail, previously.
Kristi Noem and Bryon got married in 1992, after being together for several years. The couple got married when Kristi was 20 years old, and eventually they welcomed three kids, daughters Kassidy and Kennedy, and son Booker. The couple had been each other's supporters and they also, during the initial days of their marriage, worked together to expand their business while taking care of their kids. Eventually, Bryon became an insurance executive, and Kristi found an interest in politics and became the DHS secretary.
