Kristi Noem's husband might have decided on the future of their marriage amid allegations of her infidelity with Corey Lewandowski.
Former Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, is currently leading the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Kristi faced allegations of cheating on her husband, Bryon Noem, for years, and currently the topic is back on the discussion forums after Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.) asked Kristi if she had "s**ual relations" with her political advisor and top aide, Corey Lewandowski. Following that, reports surfaced that she subjected Bryon to a prolonged period of humiliation with her infidelity. Recently, reports revealed Kristi's husband's alleged reaction to the same, hinting at the future of their marriage.
Kristi Noem's husband, Bryon Noem, maintains a low profile and usually avoids on-camera comments regarding his personal life. However, his alleged reaction to his wife's rumoured extramarital affair with Corey Lewandowski reached the media outlet, The New York Post, through an interview with one of his family members. Despite the years-long buzz around Kristi's alleged infidelity, Brian had decided to remain married to her and not get divorced. According to the source's revelation, his decision was based on a combination of his Christian faith, a sense of religious duty, and a commitment to his family.
Bryon's relatives told The New York Post that to him, marriage was a lifelong commitment and he believed it was his "calling from God" to support his wife, regardless of her actions. Bryon Noem has been married to Kristi Noem since May 23, 1992, and he shared his commitment to be by her side no matter what, two decades ago. However, the family member felt that the 2026 resurfacing of the controversy would be a true test of their bond, and they wanted to see if Bryon would keep his word. The source wanted him to finally give up on the marriage, as there should be a limit to how much he'd put up with his wife. They stated:
"He [Bryon] said he decided about 20 years ago that it was his calling from God to support her [Kristi] in whatever she decided to do. So he has put up with the humiliation. We will see if he sticks with her now. I think it's him honouring the calling from God. But it seems like there would be some limit to that."
The relative mentioned the much-talked-about part of Kristi Noem's March 2026 House Judiciary Committee hearing. It was about the former Secretary of Homeland Security's husband being seated behind her as she was bombarded with questions, including one about her relationship with her top aide, Corey Lewandowski. According to the family member, he deliberately "ignored the reality" and tried to make the marriage work, primarily due to his children. The couple remains committed to the family unit they raised together in an "ultra-strict" church community. Hoping Bryon would value his own feelings above others, the relative said:
"I actually liked that he sat behind her while she was grilled on the ICE atrocities. I think he's ignored the reality. Maybe he has to face it now."
During the March 4, 2026, House Judiciary Committee hearing, when Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.) directly asked Noem if she had "s**ual relations" with Corey Lewandowski, the latter didn't offer a direct denial. The Noems family's relative (the same source who mentioned Bryon's stance) criticised Kristi for not being able to say no to the affair rumours. Additionally, the family member hinted at a long-standing tension between Kristi and her husband's extended family, claiming she "despises" them. The source was quoted by The New York Times as:
"What gets me is she [Kristi Noem] couldn't say no. When she's getting grilled about it, she couldn't say no."
