Kristi Noem allegedly despised her husband, Byron Noem's family. New details about the ex-Homeland Security chief's relationship with her husband surfaced.
Former Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem has been grabbing the attention. Donald Trump, only two days back, announced that Kirsti will be fired from her position, while her place will be taken over by Oklahoma Republican and U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin. It was reported that a rumour about Kristi's alleged affair with top aide Corey Lewandowski reached a House hearing.
This instantly turned all the attention to Kristi's personal life. Kristi has been married to Byron Noem, and the couple has been together for decades. They are parents to three children: Kassidy, Kennedy, and Booker. Amid speculations about her personal life being rife and constant scrutiny, a report gave an insight into her relationship with Byron and his family members.
A family source revealed to The New York Post that Kristi Noem and Byron Noem, who were present during the hearing, felt 'humiliated'. However, the source also added that Byron is not considering divorce. For the unversed, Kristi was asked about her relationship with Corey Lewandowski during the House's judicial committee hearing.
However, Kristi reportedly slammed the same and reacted by tagging the claims as 'tabloid garbage'. The same family source recently revealed that it has been years since a tension has been going on between her and her husband, Byron's family. Reportedly, she 'despises the Noem family'. The family source also addressed Byron's presence during the hearing, wherein Kristi was grilled. The source said that it was for the better because Byron ignored reality, and thus, he may have needed to face it now. The source claimed:
"She despises the Noem family. I actually liked that he sat behind her while she was grilled on the ICE atrocities. I think he’s ignored the reality. Maybe he has to face it now."
For the unversed, Kristi Noem has been married to Byron Noem for years now. The couple met during their teenage years, and Byron was Kirsti's brother's friend. Eventually, the couple formed a connection and went on to get married to each other when she was 20 years old, and he was 22 years old. Kristi and Byron were studying in the same college, and then an accident took the former's father's life, leading the couple to shift their attention to a family-owned ranch and the agricultural business. Following this, the couple's careers split in two ways, as Byron transitioned into the insurance sector, Noem Insurance, in 2003, and Kristi transitioned into her political career in 2006 after winning a seat in the South Dakota House of Representatives.
Speaking of Kristi's affair, it was in 2023 when speculations about her illicit affair with Corey Lewandowski made it to the headlines. The duo was questioned about the same, which they continued to deny while tagging the buzz as fabricated. As per The New York Post, Kristi and Corey were spotted making out in an Orlando hotel bar during the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference.
Another source claimed that it was in 2020, when Kirsti was seen sitting on Corey's lap during Trump's famous Mar-a-Lago. At the present time, Kristi was openly questioned about her illicit affair with Corey during a hearing, which she didn't straightaway deny but reacted in an outrageous way, as a personal topic was discussed at a meeting.
