Television actress, Kishwer Merchant's family organised a special baby shower bash for her after her traditional godh bharai ceremony. Kishwer Merchantt is super-excited to welcome her first child with her hubby, Suyyash Rai, and it can be seen in her social media posts. The gorgeous mommy-to-be often shares snippets of her pregnancy diary.

On June 24, 2021, Kishwer's family had organised a godh bharai ceremony to bless the baby inside her tummy. The gorgeous actress had donned a pink-hued ethnic ensemble. She had styled it with floral pink earrings and a maang teeka. On the other hand, Suyyash had donned a pastel blue-coloured kurta with cream dhoti. She had also donned a unique henna design for her special day.
After her traditional godh bharai ceremony, Kishwer's family hosted a baby shower bash. The gorgeous mommy-to-be looked pretty in a lavender-coloured gown, with pretty bows on the shoulder. On March 2, 2021, Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had taken to their respective Instagram handles and had shared their pregnancy announcement. In the picture, we could see Suyyash on his knees by the beachside and holding Kishwer's hand, and in the sand, it was written 'August 2021'.

Kishwer had talked about getting pregnant naturally at the age of 40, in an interview with the Hindustan Times. She had shared, "Being a mother at 40 is cool and age is just a number. It was destined to happen this year, I guess. I asked all sorts of questions to the doctor but she's asked me not to worry. I have cousins who have delivered at 40 and 42, so I don’t see age as a problem and things are changing as many people don't have kids at 20 or 24 but a bit later. Moreover, due to our lifestyle, workout, healthy eating, it will be fine, and delivering at 40 is fine."
In the same interview, Kishwer had also excitedly narrated how she had found out at 2 am in the night that she was pregnant. Kishwer had shared that she was feeling quite tired for over a month, and that's when she had tested and found out that she was pregnant. The actress had also revealed that it was an unplanned pregnancy.
