Gone are the days when jaal designs, peacock and lotus motifs were the only options for mehendi. Nowadays, women love experimenting and personalising their mehendi designs, be it for their wedding or any other special occasion of their life. To-be mom, Kishwer Merchantt believes in 'less is more' and her unique personalised mehendi for her godh bharai ceremony definitely speaks volumes of her heart!

It was in March 2021 when Kishwer Merchantt had announced her pregnancy with Suyyash Rai, revealing that her due date is in August. For the pregnancy announcement, Suyyash and Kishwer had posted a romantic picture from the beach, in which he could be seen sitting on his knees holding his wife as she cradled her baby bump. With 'August 2021' engraved on the sand and a pair of baby shoes placed near it, the sunset made the picture even more breathtaking.
Ahead of her due month, Kishwer Merchantt, who is in her last trimester, is celebrating the beginning of her motherhood journey with godh bharai ceremony. The excited mommy-to-be, Kishwer posted glimpses of the preparations as she got her mehendi done. Kishwer's minimalistic mehendi design is for the preggers to bookmark.
The design on one palm was of the to-be mommy, Kishwer Merchantt, cradling her baby bump and thinking about her pregnancy cravings with baby essentials like milk bottle, crib, toys and clothes, drawn on the fingers. And on the other palm's design, while a pregnant Kishwer is thinking about the baby, her hubby, Suyyash Rai is busy decorating the house for the baby shower.

A few days ago, Kishwer Merchantt had revealed through a post on Instagram that how she went from being worried about putting on weight during pregnancy to loving herself. Kishwer had written, "When I got pregnant I use to think omg I will put on so much weight... what will I do, will I ever be able to lose the weight again? I guess it happens to everyone. But after a few days I stopped thinking all about it and embraced it... this is me now and I love myself coz I have you inside. And yes I know me, I will work hard and get back to how I was and you will be proud of Mommy #sukishkababy Love my new nickname by @suyyashrai: GOLMATOL."
Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai's Eid 2021 was a celebration with a beautiful combination of blue and pink. Sharing pictures from the Eid special photoshoot, Kishwer had written, "The combination for this Eid had to be pink and blue. Eid Mubarak everyone. Eid Mubarak. May Allah grant shifa to all. Prayers for suffering to end, for strength to bear losses. To Peace, Happiness, Health and Healing in the year ahead. Please stay at home as you celebrate. #EidUlFitr #EidMubarak."
