For those unaware, her 15-year-old son, KJ Biermann, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, recently got arrested. The charges against him include sodomy and sexual battery. Kim is choosing to stay by her son’s side during this troubling time.
Kim Zolciak’s teenage son, KJ Biermann, is currently in police custody after a girl claimed that he assaulted her inside a gym changing area. The girl in question is reported to be KJ’s female classmate. While the allegations against KJ are nothing short of severe, Kim is not ready to believe any of them. In a statement to Page Six, the reality TV star vehemently denied the claims and said:
“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged.”
According to Kim, her son passed a voluntary polygraph examination. She added that an examination was also conducted which showed that DNA belonging to KJ was not found on the girl. Kim claimed that she was aware of how the girl had previously made similar allegations involving two other people. She said that it raises serious concerns which must be “carefully examined.”
Kim Zolciak noted how such “false accusations” could bear devastating consequences for the one who is being accused. The same goes for those who are “genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse.” In her words:
“Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation. We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
Following this, KJ Biermann’s lawyer, Jason Sheffield, also stated to Page Six that his client is 100 per cent innocent and tried to present all the evidence to the arresting officer, including how KJ passed a Polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender Polygrapher. Jason said that the fact that the 15-year-old was being held without a bond “is a tragedy.”
He said that KJ is not only presumed innocent, but is truly innocent. Jason urged the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and give each of the families, both KJ’s and the girl’s, the space and privacy they deserve.
As per reports, Kim Zolciak’s son, KJ Biermann, was arrested for aggravated sexual battery in Alpharetta, Georgia, on August 18, 2026. His female classmate accused him of assaulting her on April 23, 2026. She told the investigators that the reality star's son had allegedly forced himself on her despite her saying no when they were in a co-ed sauna.
As per the court documents, the girl said that KJ allegedly tried to have sexual intercourse with her multiple times. She claimed that she only managed to get away from him when he “pulled up his pants and left.”
After the alleged assault, she did not tell anyone about it until she went to school the next day and ran into KJ’s girlfriend. This prompted her to flee the campus and contact her family from a Starbucks, where the girl shared that she was having a panic attack.
