For the unversed, the 13-year-old performed her first-ever solo concert in Chicago on September 5, 2026. Earlier, on May 1, 2026, North released her first Extended Play (EP), N0rth4evr. Besides being a singer and rapper, North is also an actress. She made her film debut as the voice of 'Mini' in Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie in 2023.
Kim and Kanye’s 13-year-old daughter, North West, performed a solo concert for the first time. As North made her solo concert debut, she received support from both of her parents. On September 5, 2026, both Kim Kardashian and her ex-husband, Kanye West, attended the first gig of their eldest daughter, North at The Vic Theatre in Lakeview, Chicago. In a TikTok video shared by the French outlet, Paris Match, the ex-couple was seen on opposite sides of the theater watching North perform.
Kanye was seen nodding to the music and filming on his phone, while Kim cheered and pointed at their daughter. Later, Kim took to her Instagram Stories to share a clip of fans cheering. In one of her Instagram Stories, the fans were seen holding a placard bearing the text, "We’re from the North West Side." In another Story, Kim was seen recording North’s performance.
North West was born in June 2013 to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. She has three siblings, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. After her birth, Kim explained how she and Kanye decided to name their child, North. She shared that initially it was just a rumor. However, after Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour praised the name, the ex-couple considered naming their eldest child, North. Speaking to Vanity Fair, Kim shared:
"It was a rumor in the press. And we’d never really considered it seriously, at all. But Kanye and I were having lunch, and Pharrell came over to us and said, ‘Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter North? That is the best name.’ Then a little while later, Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us, ‘North is a genius name.’ Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. I guess at that point it sort of stuck."
Time and again, North has grabbed significant attention for her unique style statement. She is known for her extreme makeovers, piercings and bold hair colors. In a 2025 interview with Complex Style, Kim shared that North has a unique style. She added that North has introduced her to many brands. She was quoted as saying:
"She teaches me a lot. So she has a really unique style. She puts me on to so many brands, like she just loves what she loves. And it’s just really fun to see someone be so creative. And also knows herself so much."
In May 2026, North released her first EP, which includes six songs and combines guitar-heavy music, singing and rap with a punk-inspired style. The songs have unusual titles like D!e, N0rth4evr, and W0ah. She also released a music video for the title song, N0rth4evr, before the EP came out. In a recent interview with Dazed, North shared her ambitions as an artist. She said:
"To start my career later. It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life."
