Khloe Kardashian's ex, Tristan Thompson recently revealed his plans to discuss his cheating angles with his kids, once they are in the proper age brackets.
Khloe Kardashian started dating Tristan Thompson back in 2016, after they met each other through a mutual friend. Two years later, the couple welcomed their first child, True, followed by another kid, Tatum, in 2022. The couple had been through an on-and-off cycle, and they faced major breakups, leading to their final split in 2021. The duo's relationship often grabbed the attention with multiple cheating allegations.
Recently, Tristan appeared on Khloe's podcast, Khloe In Wonder Land, and spoke about the same. He mentioned that once his kids are inside a certain age bracket, he will need to speak about his cheating while being with Khloe. To mention, Tristan is a father of four kids, and along with True and Tatum, he is also a dad to Prince, whom he had with his ex, Jordan Craig, and son Theo, whom he welcomed with Maralee Nichols.
To mention, Khloe and Tristan broke up in 2021, when it was revealed that he had fathered a child with his trainer, Nichols, just days after he transferred an embryo with Khloe, which resulted in the birth of Tatum, whom the couple welcomed through surrogacy. On the podcast, Khloe asked Tristan whether he ever thought that he would have to explain his infidelity to his kids. To this, Tristan added that he thought about the same, and it's mostly not about if he will share but more about when he will share. Tristan further added that it depends on the kids' age brackets and more about him being accountable for his actions. Tristan's exact words were:
"Like you said, it's not about if, it's when. I think it just depends on which age we have this conversation. When I have this conversation with the kids, I think it's just more leading by just being accountable and [it] depends on the age bracket of wherever they were at, then dive into it, how I see fit."
Tristan, during the same interview, added that he has been consistent with a plan, which is to be accountable for whatever he did in the past. Both Khloe and her ex, Tristan, believe that the kids want only 'honesty' and love, and thus, he will try to be honest with them when he opens up about his past.
In the same podcast, Khloe asked Tristan if he got an ultimatum from her about getting his vasectomy done. Well, he stated that he was not proud of his past behaviour. Khloe asked him what he meant by the same, as he said that he realised he was not proud of his actions.
By this, Khole wanted to ask whether Tristan realised that he made mistakes while he was doing it, or once he was done doing it. Well, Khloe further asked Tristan, why did he continue doing it if he was not proud of it? To this, Tristan added that life was just moving fast when he was with Khloe, and he didn't do the best when it came to navigating his truth about where he was. Apart from that, Tristan felt that it might have happened due to his age, as he was young back then. To quote him:
"That is a million, that's a trillion dollar question. I don't know. I mean, I can't speak for other people. For myself, I think just life was moving very quickly for me at the time when we were together. I probably didn't do the best job of navigating my truth about where I was at. And maybe just honestly, probably just a little case of just, like, being young and wanting [to have] your cake and [to] eat it too.”
In the same interview, Tristan revealed that he has a good bond with all of his baby mommas, and they are all each other's friends, as at the end of the day, they are family, and they have each other's contact info. He stated that it's the number one thing for him that no matter how much one tries, this family is unbreakable, and their kids are each other's siblings and will be there in each other's lives for a long time.
