Ketan Agarwal's parents, along with other supporters, organised a candlelight vigil in memory of their late son. The couple has been devastated ever since the tragic incident took place. However, what they had initially believed was a heartbreaking twist of fate soon turned out to be a well-thought-out conspiracy. Now, days after Ketan's death, his parents have demanded a death sentence for their son's murderer, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary.
In a conversation with ANI, Ketan Agarwal's father, Vishal Agarwal, revealed that he still doesn't understand why his son was murdered. He shared that he was looking forward to getting his son married. However, little did he know that he would end up losing him. Vishal further demanded that his son's murderers be punished and given a death sentence. He was quoted as saying:
"Mai ek hi appeal karunga, mera 26 saal ka beta aaj, jisbhi wajha se, unhoney bina kisi karan ke maar daala, jisko aaj tak koi karan pata nahi chala, mere bacche ki kahi par bhi ek galti nahi thi. Mai toh shaadi karne chala tha uski, ghar mei beti bahu laane chala tha. Mujhe nahi pata tha mera baccha ki kho dunga mai. Toh mai sabse appeal kar raha hu, ki usko justice miley. Uskey apradhiyon ko phasi ki saza miley. Yehi meri sabse request hai."
In the same conversation, Ketan Agarwal's father thanked the people who had come out to support his late son's battle for justice. Vishal Agarwal expressed his trust in the judicial system and asserted that the authorities were working very hard to find the truth. He was quoted as saying:
"Isliye ki aaj mere bacche ke liye jitney log aai, unhoney usko bhi apna baccha samjha, aur yahan pohonchey, ye mere liye bohot garv ki baat hai aur mai unka dil se shukriya karta hu. Ki woh itna time nikaal ke aaye mere liye. Mereko kanoon vyawastha pe poora bharosa hai."
In the same conversation with ANI, Ketan Agarwal's mother, Rakhi Agarwal, also demanded justice for his son. She shared that she is also a mother, but right now she wants justice for her son and a death sentence for Siya Goyal and her alleged lover. Chetan Chaudhary. She also thanked those who had come forward to support them during this tough phase. Rakhi looked extremely shattered as she spoke with the media, the pain of losing her son evident on her face. She was quoted as saying:
"Mereko justice chahiye Ketan ke liye, aur Siya ko phasi ki saza. Mai bhi maa hu, Siya ki bhi maa hai, lekin mujhe Siya ke liye aaj phasi hi chahiye. Aur Ketan ke liye justice chahiye. Chetan ke liye bhi phasi chahiye."
