Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are one of the much-loved couples in Bollywood. The couple got married in 2021, and in 2025, their lives were completed with the arrival of their little one, a baby boy. Katrina and Vicky welcomed their baby boy on November 7, 2025. And on January 7, 2025, the couple took to their social media handles to announce the name of their little one. The duo, for the first time, shared a glimpse of their little one, and oh boy, how adorable that is.
Taking to their IG handles, in a collaborative post, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal shared the name of their baby boy. They shared a photo of them holding the tiny hand of their little prince, and the cute family photo instantly made our day, and how! Sharing the photo, Katrina called her little one the 'Ray' of their lives, while sharing that she and Vicky decided to name him 'Vihaan'. Katrina mentioned in her note that her and Vicky's prayers have been answered, and that life, which is continuously changing, is beautiful in every way. Katrina's adorable note could be read as:
"Our Ray of Light, Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world has changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words."
There's no denying the fact that Katrina and Vicky chose a beautiful name for their little one. The name 'Vihaan' originates from Sanskrit and means sunrise, dawn, or the beginning of a new era. With Katrina and Vicky calling their baby boy, the ray of their lives, the name the newbie parents chose is in every way apt. To mention, this is the first time that the couple shared a glimpse of their baby boy on social media, and netizens couldn't keep calm, as they are showering the trio with love and blessings.
Vicky Kaushal received an award for the Actor of the Year award at the NDTV Indian of the Year 2025. While receiving the award a few weeks back, he shared that it was really tough for him to leave his home and the city for the first time since becoming a dad. He also added that he knows that when his little one, who came as a blessing to him and his wife, would feel proud, when he would watch his dad receiving the award, while growing up.
Vicky further added that it was too early to comment on whether he faced any challenges in his fatherhood journey. He added that it's all just magical and blissful, and he, Katrina, and their families are just delighted. Vicky, being a doting dad to his little one, shared that he was getting better at changing diapers, even more than acting. Vicky could be quoted as saying:
"It is too new to feel any challenges. It's all magical right now. It's all very blissful right now… I don’t know main shabdon mein nahi baiyan kar sakta ke kya feeling hai. There are all sorts of objectives that I can say, but it's just a very special feeling, and, truly God has been very kind. The family is very happy, and this one is for my entire family and especially for him. I am now better at changing diapers than acting”.
