Along with her return to social media, Katelynn also shared some details about her personal life, including her split from her husband, Jaelan Ordone. Katelynn and Jaelan shared two kids, Paisley and Preston. The couple would share glimpses of their family and win hearts with the same.
Jaelan and Katelynn's son, Preston, was known on social media as 'Okay Baby' because he would often be seen adorably saying 'Ok' to his mom in her videos. His antics won hearts; however, it was in April 2025 that a tragic incident claimed the little one's life. It so happened that Jaelan and Katelynn's car veered off the road and collided with a tree, leading Preston to pass away. His death was due to 'blunt-force injuries'.
During the incident, the influencer Katelynn and Jaelson were both in the car, and they survived the crash. The tragic incident took a toll on Katelynn, which is understandable. She took a break from social media, and it was most recently that she returned.
She recently changed her Instagram ID from Katelynn Ordone to Katelynn Norris, which left her followers wondering if she has parted ways with Jaelan. According to reports, Katelynn recently confirmed to PEOPLE that she and Jaelan have been divorced. The timing and the reason haven't been disclosed.
Rather, Katelynn shared a lengthy note along with some snaps, which featured a mystery man by her side. In the note, Katelynn revealed that she had a tough time returning to social media, even to pick up her phone and capture moments of her life, thinking her precious son would not be in any of the snaps anymore. Katelynn further mentioned that it's been 443 days since she lost her son, and there had been several ups and downs in her life.
Katelynn added in the caption that she was not ready to share details right away; however, she is grateful to have reached a place in her life that has allowed her to live again, something that her late son would want, too. In her post, the presence of the mystery man raised questions; however, nothing about him has been revealed just yet. An excerpt from her note could be read as:
"Even though it’s still hard, I’m grateful I’ve reached this point because I know that’s what Preston would want. I truly believe he wants his mama to continue finding joy until we meet again someday."
Katelynn stepped away from social media following the passing of her 2-year-old son, and she returned on social media in January 2026. It was after six months of the 2-year-old's passing that Katelynn made her first post on social media.
