According to multiple reports, the Agent Vinod actor suffered several wounds and was stabbed six times with a knife. The horrifying incident has left a deep scar inside Saif and his family. Now that it’s the year-end, the actor’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, recalled the attack and penned an emotional note.
On December 31, 2025, Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared a snap of her and her husband, Saif Ali Khan. Along with the picture, she wrote an emotional note. In the note, she recalled how she and her family made it to the last day of the year 2025. She called this year a difficult one for her children and her family. She highlighted what this year taught them. She also thanked her fans and friends for standing beside them. She wrote:
"As we sit down and reflect on the fact that we made it to the last day of the year… We walked this far. 2025 has been a difficult year for us, our children and our families… But we went through it head held high, laughing and holding on. We cried a lot, we prayed, and now we are here…2025 taught us that human nature is fearless, love will conquer all and that children are braver than we think… We want to thank our fans, our friends and everyone who stood by us and continues to support us…and above all, the lord almighty."
While in the first half of her note, Kareena recounted both happy and sad memories created in 2025, the second half reflects her hope as she is all set to enter the New Year with her family, including her husband, Saif Ali Khan and her two kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. She expressed gratitude to everyone. She concluded her note by wishing everyone a Happy New Year. She wrote:
"We are entering 2026 with a renewed fire in our bellies, immense gratitude and positivity and an undying passion for what we do best ..the movies…Like I always say, Char Di Kala. Happy New Year, everyone."
Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Mumbai residence. The attacker broke into his house past midnight on January 16, 2025. Following the shocking incident, Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he received treatment. Recounting the knife attack, Saif once opened up about his feelings. He called his recovery a miracle. Speaking to Esquire India, the Bollywood actor said:
"There’s this crazy sense of how lucky one is because (the knife attack) was damn close. And to walk away relatively unscathed is nothing short of miraculous. It could have been the adrenaline, but I remember thinking life has been colourful, and I’ve been privileged… not just in terms of money. So many people have more. But I’ve lived in that rarefied atmosphere of Winchester, travelled with loved ones, the wine, my wife, my children…"
Kareena Kapoor Khan tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan on October 16, 2012. The couple dated for 5 years before tying the knot. It was Saif’s second marriage. For the unversed, he was previously married to Amrita Singh, with whom he has two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan. In his marriage with Kareena, the duo welcomed Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016 and Jehangir Ali Khan on February 21, 2025.
