It was on February 21, 2021, when Saif Ali Khan had confirmed that his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan had given birth to a baby boy. Saif was quoted as saying by the PTI, "We have been blessed with a baby boy. Mom and baby are safe and healthy. Thank you to our well-wishers for their love and support." A few days later, the elated nanu, Randhir Kapoor had revealed that Kareena and Saif have not yet named their second child. When Saif and Kareena had taken their newborn son home from the Breach Candy Hospital, the paparazzi had gotten the first-ever glimpse of the little one. Taimur Ali Khan’s little brother was wrapped in a cloth and his face was covered to maintain his privacy.
More than a week after delivering her second child, Kareena Kapoor Khan made a PHAT comeback on her IG handle. In an interview with Times Now Digital, before delivering her second child, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about the lessons she’d learnt during her first pregnancy that helped her in the second one. She had said, "I guess I am more prepared and confident this time around. I was quite nervous and jittery since I was going to turn a mother for the first time. This time around. I am way calmer and thankfully, I am not going berserk yet." Speaking on the fuss around a pregnant working woman, she had continued, "Why can’t pregnant women work," she questioned, adding, "I do not understand the fuss about it. I have worked throughout my pregnancies and will continue to do even after delivery. In fact, it’s good to remain active and on your feet as it’s good for the baby’s health. In a Zoom interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed the first reaction of her hubby, Saif Ali Khan on knowing about her second pregnancy. Revealing that it wasn’t planned but something they wanted to celebrate, Kareena had said, “Unfortunately in my house there is nothing filmy as such. Because Saif is very normal and relaxed. Of course, he is always happy to hear it. So like I said, it wasn’t planned but it was something we really wanted to celebrate and we are really enjoying it together.” Speaking about the excitement on welcoming the new addition in their family, Saif had said in an interview with GQ, "I am very happy to welcome another tiny tot home before we get old."
To introduce her munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan on her official Instagram profile, Kareena Kapoor Khan had left us in awe with a picture with him as well as its sweetest caption. She had written, "The only one I will ever allow to steal my frame," as Taimur rested on his mommy’s shoulders. In another picture, Kareena Kapoor Khan had posted a throwback picture of her ‘love’, Saif Ali Khan from Taimur Ali Khan’s third birthday bash. Taimur seemed lost as his daddy, Saif turned guitarist and the way this photo captured so many emotions, we were all in awe of it. Blurry, but perfect!
