While 'Tashan' was the movie that had made Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan fall in love with each other, the actress has now revealed the movie after which she had conceived Taimur Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first pregnancy had broken the internet and the actress had debunked many myths about pregnancy. However, it was the news of Kareena giving birth to her firstborn child that had surpassed every standard of popularity. Right after the birth, Kareena’s baby, Taimur Ali Khan had become the nation’s favourite star kid. The very first glimpse of Taimur had stormed the internet, thanks to his chubby red cheeks and grey eyes. Taimur Ali Khan has made his way into the hearts of millions and since his birth, his every spotting had been breaking the internet.

It was in 2016 when Kareena had, for the very first time, experienced the pregnancy phase and on December 20, 2016, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had welcomed the little prince of Pataudi, Taimur Ali Khan into their lives. To announce the birth of little Tim, Saif and Kareena had released an official statement which could be read as “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well-wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif & Kareena.”
Kareena’s personal life is not only glory but her professional success is also often the talk of the town. While Tashan had become the movie that had made Kareena and Saif fall in love with each other, the actress has now revealed the movie after which she had conceived her first child. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s path-breaking movie, Ki and Ka completed five years today and the stars are celebrating the occasion. For the same, Kareena shared a throwback picture from the sets of the film and shared that it was Ki and Ka after which, she had conceived Taimur. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “A film I thoroughly enjoyed, a film quite bold, a film after which Tim was conceived, a film that must be made into a sequel... only cause I want to work with @arjunkapoor and Balki once again... Arjun don’t worry, I will continue to say chappal laooooo #5YearsOfKiAndKa.”
A few days back, we had gotten our hands on Taimur Ali Khan’s picture right after the delivery. In the picture, we could see newborn Taimur peacefully sleeping in the crib at the Breach Candy Hospital, where he was born. Draped in a white cloth, we could see innocence dripping down his face and the baby tag attached to his crib had the essential details like mother’s name, weight, height written over it. Well, Taimur’s weight, when he was born was 2.96 kgs.

The feeling of holding your first child is surreal for every parent and so was the case with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan when they had held Taimur in their arms for the first time. In the month of September 2020, Kareena had shared a video on her IG feed and had spoken about the ‘surreal’ feeling of holding their little one for the first time in their arms. When asked, “What was it like to hold your baby for the first time?” while Kareena had said, “Even though I carried him for nine months, I think every mother experiences this. I just felt extremely surreal”, Saif Ali Khan had remarked, “I think we cannot describe it in words.”
