Punjabi singer, Karan Aujla, faced accusations of cheating and an extra-marital affair, after a US-based artist claimed to be in a relationship with him.
Punjabi singer, Karan Aujla, who is known for building his life from scratch, found himself neck-deep in a pool of controversy. It all started after a US-based artist claimed that she was in a relationship with the singer, and had no idea he was married. The serious accusation went viral on the internet and sparked debate. It is worth mentioning that Karan Aujla never hid his marital status and always heaped praises on his wife, who stood with him.
Karan Aujla's name was dragged into a huge controversy after a US-based singer and influencer, whose name on Instagram is MSGoriMuisic, claimed that she was in a private relationship with Aujla. However, she later found out that he was married to Palak Aujla. The woman in question further alleged that once he started speaking up, she was silenced and publicly shamed.
Ever since the US-based woman made the allegations public, she has been consistently sharing posts on her Instagram stories, and claiming that she is no longer going to stay silent. On January 12, 2026, the US-based woman shared an Instagram story and stated that women have been manipulated and publicly shamed so that others could avoid accountability. She wrote:
"Too many women have been manipulated, shamed, and publicly rewritten so others could avoid accountability. I won't participate in that pattern anymore. This is for every woman who's been taught to shrink, doubt herself, or carry blame that was never hers. You don't need permission to stand in your integrity."
The US-based woman also shared that she would be sharing a statement on the controversy soon. Another screenshot of her statement on Reddit says that she was silenced and publicaly shamed after she talked about her private relationship with Karan Aujla without knowing about his marital status.
It is worth mentioning that neither BollywoodShaadis nor the author verify the allegation levied on the Punjabi singer, Karan Aujla, by the US-based woman. However, the woman in her statement shared that police in Canada and the US are investigating the matter with false criminal allegations circulating about her, and the matter was kept away from Indian fans. She added that a major US-based media outlet wants to interview her, and she would be sharing her truth. She said:
"Police in Canada and the US are looking at it. False criminal allegations were then circulated about me, went viral in the West, and were quietly kept out of India. A major U.S. media outlet is now preparing to interview me, and for the first time, I’m choosing to speak on this. I believe I have the right to share my story. Since doing so, multiple celebrities in India have reached out privately, saying they’re inspired by me speaking out."
Karan Aujla is married to Palak Aujla, who is a Canada-based makeup artist. She has built her own name in the beauty industry, and as per her Instagram bio, she is the founder and CEO of Maison Palke, a beauty salon based in Canada. Just like many Punjabi singer's spouses, Palak has stayed away from the limelight and kept her personal and professional life separate from her husband, Karan's fame.
So far, Karan Aujla has chosen to stay away from the controversy and has not made any statement on the same.
