Kannada actor, Sumukha, who is well-known for his appearance in movies like Physics Teacher, Yana, Manada Kadula has officially tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Maitri Uka. It is worth mentioning that the actor rose to nationwide fame with Manada Kadula. According to a report by MoneyControl, Sumuka’s wife, Maitri Uka is an architect by profession and a popular interior designer. Reportedly, her portfolio reveals that she has worked at several prominent companies. If reports are to be believed, Maitri Uka is originally from Mumbai and allegedly, she continues to live there.
Talking about their love story, it is worth mentioning that there is not much information about them; however, a few reports suggest that the much-in-love couple had been dating for nearly seven years before tying the knot. The couple stood by each other during their good and bad times. It is also worth noting that Sumukha, despite being an actor, beautifully managed to keep his personal life and relationship private.
Recently, Kannada actor, Sumukha tied the knot with his longtime partner, Maitri Uka in an intimate ceremony held in Rishikesh. The wedding ceremony took place near the Ganga river. According to the photos that are making rounds on social media, the wedding ceremony was attended by only close friends and family. Reports suggest that Sumukha’s fellow actors from the Sandalwood industry have been showering love on the couple.
It is worth mentioning that the nature backdrop made the moment even more beautiful and special for Sumukha and Maitri. Talking about the outfits, Maitra opted for an ivory lehenga, reportedly designed by Sabyasachi. She completed her look with statement jewellery, including a neck choker. The interior designer kept her hair open for the ceremony. On the other hand, much-loved actor, Sumukha complemented his ladylove with an ivory sherwani. There is no information about who designed Sumukha’s outfit.
When the Instagram handle, Brides Of Sabyasachi, shared some photos of Maitri and Sumukha, multiple users showered their love on the couple. While most of them flooded the comment section with red heart emojis, others penned heartfelt comments. One user shared, "Super beautiful and absolute Sundari." Another fan penned, "Cute couple, looking very good."
For those who do not know, Sumukha is a popular Kannada actor. After appearing in projects like Physics Teacher and Yana, the actor rose to fame with Manada Kadula. In March 2025, when the entire crew of the movie sat down for an interview, during which the actor got candid about his journey and revealed that it took him ten years to build an image in the Sandalwood industry. With Manada Kadula, Sumukha rose to nationwide fame. He was quoted as saying:
"It’s taken 10 years to get here. There were days I’d wonder if it would ever happen, if I was just chasing a dream that would fail tomorrow. Manada Kadalu is only my third film, but this decade of waiting has shaped me. The patience it requires is something that’s hard to explain."
