Jim Carrey's representative recently confirmed to The Daily Mail that it was the actor himself who attended the award ceremony in Paris, thereby dismissing all the noise around about the actor being cloned. As per the rep, Jim's visit has been planned since the summer, and he has been touched by the Academy's invitation, while adding that branding a controversy is a 'non-issue'.
On the other hand, sources revealed to The Daily Mail that while the noise around is something that Jim should laugh about, he is not taking it lightly, as he feels this 'stupidity' around is not in any way a matter of laughter.
