Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have been one of the most loved couples of Indian television. Since the past few months, the two have been grabbing attention as multiple reports claim that the two have headed for a divorce. Amid the rumours, Mahhi Vij, recently, made her TV comeback with the show, Seher Hone Ko Hai. Well, now, actor, Jay Bhanushali has reacted to his wife's comeback amid the divorce rumours.
On December 22, 2025, Mahhi Vij took to her Instagram handle to express her gratitude on the positive responses her new show, Seher Hone Ko Hai has been receiving by the audience. She shared a few screenshots of the reviews and penned a long note, in which she thanked the director of the show. Her note can be read as:
"When God holds your hand, nothing can stop you. When you do good, goodness finds its way back to you. The appreciation I receive every day for my work puts the biggest smile on my face. It’s a feeling so satisfying that nothing else in life matters in that moment. I am deeply grateful to my director, @maansingh_110 sir for believing in me and bringing out the best in me. Above all, I am forever thankful to God, who has always held my hand and guided my path."
Right after Mahhi Vij shared the post, her husband, Jay Bhanushali took to his handle and praised his wife on her amazing comeback in the TV show. Interestingly, Mahhi Vij replied to her husband’s comment and shared, “Thank you” for his praise. Jay’s comment could be read as:
"Fabulous what a comeback."
In mid-2025, rumours started claiming that the popular TV couple, Jay and Mahhi have headed for a divorce. It is worth mentioning that the two had not been posting pictures with each other and some fans felt that the duo had been living separately. A source had told Hindustan Times that Jay and Mahhi's legal paperwork would be finalised between July-August 2025.
Later, Mahhi had strongly denied divorce rumours and threatened to take legal action. However, the rumours didn't stop. Multiple reports continue to claim that the couple have been living separately and will be parting ways soon. As of now, neither Jay nor Mahhi have shared an official statement on the same. For the unversed, Jay and Mahhi tied the knot in 2011. And the duo have three children.

Mahhi plays the role of 'Kausar', a fearless mother, who fights against society and family restrictions to make sure her daughter, 'Seher' gets educated and fulfills her dream of becoming a doctor. It is worth mentioning that the show premiered on December 2, 2025. Apart from Mahhi, the show also casts Rishita Kothari, Parth Samthaan and Vaquar Shaikh in important roles.
