Janhvi Kapoor recently talked about the rumours of her plastic surgery and gave a subtle confirmation on it.
Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most versatile actresses in Bollywood. She has often been compared to her mom, late Sridevi, and Janhvi has been working hard to prove that she is beyond a nepo kid. Apart from her acting, Janhvi often finds herself in the spotlight due to rumours about her plastic surgery. Now the actress has opened up about the same.
Janhvi Kapoor recently appeared on the show, Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, and spoke about various aspects of her life. In one of the segments, she addressed the buzz around speculations about her cosmetic surgery. Stating she wants to be ‘completely open book’, Janhvi stated:
“I was one of the young girls who was very impressionable with the onset of social media and seeing everyone being judged to look a certain way. I don’t want to perpetuate to young girls this idea of perfection. I'm a big believer in ‘you do you,’ do whatever makes you happy. I would be very happy to be a completely open book about things.”
In the same conversation, Janhvi Kapoor also talked about the viral videos that falsely claimed she underwent a ‘buffalo-plasty’ procedure. She claimed that her choices were made under the guidance of her mother, Sridevi, Janhvi continued:
“I think I have been very intelligent, conservative, and proper about what I have done. Of course, I had the guidance of my mom, and I'd like to share that. Also, as a cautionary tale, because if a young girl sees a video like this and decides mujhe bhi ye buffalo-plasty karna hai and something goes wrong, that would be the worst thing ever. I think transparency is important.”
Janhvi attended Cannes 2025 for the screening of her movie, Homebound. For the event, she had worn an Anamika Khanna gown, and netizens in the viral snap noticed her symmetrical scars just above the elbows. They shared that it looked a lot like liposuction scars. Netizens agreed that she had lipo scars and shared that her arms just look disproportionate to the rest of her body. One Redditor commented, "Is there any kind of surgery this girl has not gotten?
