Janhvi Kapoor's Rumoured Boyfriend, Akshat Rajan Is Scared To Hang Out With Her Due To Paparazzi

Janhvi Kapoor has been ruling the tinsel town ever since she made her debut in Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak last year in 2018. Every interview of Janhvi is dominated by two territories- first being her late mother, Sridevi's sudden demise and second being her relationship status with her co-star, Ishaan Khatter. Janhvi Kapoor's boyfriend is a mystery which her male fans want to know the most. We all know that Janhvi is allegedly dating her childhood friend, Akshat Rajan. In the celebrity chat show, Famously Filmfare, Janhvi Kapoor has opened up about Akshat. She said that Akshat is too scared to even walk with her due to the fear of being clicked together by the paparazzi. Janhvi shared, "The rumour mongers have also said that I am dating my childhood best friend called Akshat, who’s so scared to hang out with me now because he is too scared that we will be papped together."

Janhvi also revealed that on her father, Boney Kapoor's birthday, Akshat came down to her house, and avoided the paparazzi to the point of hiding from them. This is what she said, "So that day, he came home for dad’s birthday and there were paps downstairs at Arjun bhaiyya‘s house, and he was hiding in a khopcha, put on a hoodie and all, and left. I was like, it’s okay."

For the fans, it must be mentioned here that Akshat is the son of the business giant, Abhijit Rajan (Chairman and Managing Director of Gammon India Limited) and is currently studying at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. It was post-Dhadak's success that Janhvi almost confirmed her love for him. Janhvi shared a story on her Instagram in which Akshat could be seen holding a D-shaped flower bouquet in his hand, and she wrote, "Subtlety is not his thing" atop it. Rumours of Janhvi and Akshat dating each other started in March 2018. On Janhvi’s birthday, on March 6, 2018, Akshat had posted a couple picture of themselves with skyscrapers in the background. Janhvi commented 'ily' on the same which also stands for 'I love you'. Take a look:

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have also been rumoured to be dating. Recently, when the 21-year-old actress appeared on Koffee with Karan along with Arjun Kapoor. And both, Karan and Arjun teased her whenever Ishaan's name came up during the course of the interview. Her Arjun bhaiya teased her one point and said, "Well, he (Ishaan) is always around her," Host Karan then compared Ishaan to a bee, then Arjun said, "No, no, because he jumps off buildings." Ishaan Khatter was recently asked in an interview if he has found a true friend in Janhvi Kapoor. To this, the Beyond the Clouds star replied, "Yes 100 per cent and it's going to be a lifelong friendship. It felt like being on set with your best friend. Touchwood! There was lovely energy on the set during the making of the film. We've just been honest and straight up with each other. We've been passionate about our work. Also, we've been able to share our feelings and our vulnerabilities"

Janhvi also shared in the interview with Filmfare as to how Sridevi used to react to her daughter's boyfriends. She revealed, "Mom and dad were very dramatic about it (dating). (They would say) ‘when you like a guy, come to us and we’ll get you married.’ And I’m like what!? You know we don’t have to get married to every guy we like. Like we can be chill also." And when Janhvi would ask Sridevi to be chill, Sridevi would be like, "Like chill, what does chill mean?"

Speaking of Janhvi and Sridevi, the late mother had once shared that she will be the happiest when Janhvi would get married, more than seeing her successful as an actress. She had said, "She wanted to do the film and initially, I wasn’t in favour. I don’t think it’s a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. But, as a parent, it would give me greater joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother."
