American investor James Thomas Fishback, who is also a Florida gubernatorial candidate, recently made it to the headlines as he got married to a mystery woman. For the unversed, James Fishback often made it to the headlines for back-to-back legal tassels, which he fell into.
It was in November 2025 that he announced that he was a candidate for the Republican nomination in the 2026 Florida gubernatorial election. Well, his personal life has recently grabbed the attention, as he got married to a mystery woman, four months after his split from his ex. On top of that, he initially claimed that he married this mystery woman after a week of meeting her. So, who is James Fishback's wife? Let's have a look!
Taking to his social media handle, James Thomas Fishback shares a series of photos from his wedding. In the photos, Fishback was seen in a grey-white tuxedo while the bride donned a beautiful white wedding gown. Several snaps from Fishback's wedding were shared by him. However, he didn't give out many details, except for the fact that his wife's name is Valeria. In the post, James Fishback had written that he met Valeria a week back, got engaged to her on Wednesday, and then got married this week.
Well, this information left everyone wondering who this mystery girl is, while emphasising the fact that the wedding happened within one week of their meet-up. As the conversation was already up, James Fishback turned to his social media and revealed that his comment about meeting his wife one week back was a mere sarcasm.
He revealed that, seemingly, people have an issue with him not dating his wife for 5 years before tying the knot and knowing her for one week before taking the step. Fishback further clarified that it was only a sarcastic caption, where in reality, he met Valeria a few months back, got to know her before getting engaged, and they got married. James Fishback's comment could be read as:
"This is obviously sarcasm, but it’s a tragic sign of the times that some are mad that I didn’t mindlessly date my wife for 5 years before getting married. We grew not too far from each other. We dated for several months, got engaged, and then married at my Catholic Church."
While nothing much about Valeria is known as of now, James Fishback was asked about the same by The New York Post. Reportedly, he was not available to answer and revealed that he was on a honeymoon with Valeria. He could be quoted as saying:
"I’m on my honeymoon with my wife, Valeria. I don’t have time for your AIPAC-inspired fake news."
As per TMZ, James Fishback was in a relationship with someone named Francesca Raine, who is also known as 'Crypto Baby'. If a report by the same publication is to be believed, James Fishback even referred to her as his 'wife'. However, according to TMZ, the couple broke up in February 2026. The reason for James' break-up was said to be that he claimed he was on Tinder to find young voters.
This was said to be the reason for his and Francesca Raine's split. To mention, there have been rumours that James Fishback had an inappropriate relationship with a teenage girl, who reportedly even released an order of protection. Well, James denied all the allegations. It was only a few days ago that James Fishback made it to the headlines, as during an interview with TMZ, he gave questionable tags to the OF models.
