Popular actress, Jacqueline Fernandez has already proved her mettle in acting in numerous films. For the unversed, the actress also managed to bag the winning crown of Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 before she stepped into the Hindi film industry. Since then, she has never looked back and has been working on one after the other big-budget movies.
However, for some time, Jacqueline Fernandez has been going through a rough time as she was 'accused' by the Enforcement Directorate in the 200-crore money laundering case against her alleged boyfriend and conman, Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Though earlier, Jacqueline has denied all such allegations regarding her connection with Sukesh. Currently, as per a report, she was overlooking all his mistakes and was also planning a marriage with him.

As per a report in NavBharat Times, Jacqueline Fernandez, who was interrogated for more than 8 hours for having a connection with Sukesh Chandrasekhar in the money laundering case, wasn't directly involved in the same. The report further stated that her manager, Prasant had also received a Ducati Superbike worth Rs. 8 lakhs as a gift. Not only that, but she was also planning to marry Sukesh and was madly in love with him. Even after his mistakes, Jacqueline was overlooking all for her prince charming. In an interview with ANI, Special Commissioner of Police - EOW (Economic Offences Wing), Ravinder Yadav addressed the same issue and said:
"Jacqueline Fernandez has more trouble as she did not break up with Sukesh Chandrasekhar even after knowing his criminal history."
Earlier, according to a report in the Hindustan Times, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) mentioned in his supplementary charge sheet at the Patiala House court that the actress, Jacqueline Fernandez is termed as 'accused' in the 200-crore money laundering case against Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The ED stated in the charge sheet that Jacqine had told a false story to the investigative team, and even her family members benefited from her link with the conman Sukesh. Allegedly he had also transferred a sum of USD 172,913 to the bank account of Jacqueline's sister, Geraldine J Walker and a sum of 26,470 Australian Dollars to Jacqueline's brother, Warren Fernandez.The ED had said:
"Directly or indirectly involved in the proceeds of crime and acquired, possessed & used part proceeds of crime. Cooked up a false story. Thus, it can be safely concluded that the lure of money ensured that the criminal history of the person she was engaging with did not matter. She (Jacqueline) consciously chose to overlook his criminal past and continued to indulge in financial transactions with him (Sukesh). Not only her but her family members and friends have benefited out of the relationship financially.”

Another report of DailyO stated that Jacqueline had allegedly received many luxurious gifts from Sukesh which were reportedly worth Rs. 5.71 crores. If the report is to be believed, Sukesh gifted a Maserati and a Porsche car to Jacqueline's parents, who live in Bahrain. The actress received 5 branded watches, 20 pieces of luxury jewellery, 2 diamond earrings, 3 high-end limited edition perfumes, 2 dresses from Gucci, three shoes from Louboutin, a house in Welgana, Sri Lanka, and much more.
