Days before entering the house, Isha announced her separation from rapper Badshah. However, Isha’s emotional breakdown during a captaincy task became a talking point of the show.
For the unversed, Isha tried to calm Qazi Touqueer down when he got involved in a heated argument with Yung DSA during the captaincy task. Reacting to Isha’s breakdown, Mahhi questioned, 'Badshah ne iske sath aisa kya kardiya?' Now, in an interview, Isha slammed Mahhi for her comment.
Mahhi Vij was the one to question Isha Rikhi about her emotional breakdown. She wondered what kind of trauma Isha had, which caused her to break down completely after Qazi yelled at her. Speaking to the other contestants, Mahhi explained that everybody has gone through their own trauma. According to Mahhi, bringing up her personal trauma could make people misunderstand the situation.
Mahhi said that Isha’s reaction would make people think that Badshah might have done something terrible. She said, "Phir aap yaha pe lekar aa rahe ho ki mera kuch trauma hai. Kal ko bahar log sochenge ki Badshah ne iske sath aisa kya kardiya? Aap toh indirectly uske upar character accusation laga rahe ho na?" Reacting to Mahhi’s comment, Isha, in an interview with Times Now, said that it was completely Mahhi’s opinion and she has nothing to do with it.
Recalling the moment when Qazi yelled at her, Isha mentioned that, looking at the situation, she would have never gotten involved in Qazi and Yung’s fight. However, after seeing Yung’s blood, she just wanted to intervene and tell Qazi to show some humanity and stop the fight. Isha clarified that inside the house, she and Qazi had a respectful bond. She revealed that Qazi never disrespected her or made her feel unsafe.
Isha stated that even after the incident, she and Qazi had a conversation about it, but it was not shown. She explained that when Qazi yelled at her, she felt very overwhelmed, and something triggered her, which she didn't want to tell or talk about. Isha said that people like Mahhi connect the situation to something very different. Isha explained that what Mahhi did was not right. She said:
"Log usme se context nikal ke kisi ke saath bhi jod dete hain. That was Mahhi; Mahhi did that. Koi aur aake ye cheez bol raha hai, it's not right. Being a woman, I think she should understand."
Isha continued, saying that she watched an episode where Mahhi talked about how everyone has experienced some kind of trauma or violence in their life. According to Isha, it is impossible for Mahhi to know how serious or intense someone else’s trauma was unless she experienced the same situation herself. She called Mahhi’s comments immature. Isha added that she was disappointed that a grown-up lady like Mahhi made such a comment.
Isha and Badshah parted ways after five months of marriage. For those unaware, the former couple got married in March 2026 in an intimate ceremony. After a month-long speculation around their marriage falling apart, Isha took to her Instagram Stories to announce their separation. She mentioned that they had mutually decided to part ways and move forward on their separate paths.
Before entering Bigg Boss 20, Isha sat for a candid conversation with SCREEN, where she mentioned that as people know very little about her, she wants people to know her. She described herself as a private person. In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 20, Isha made it clear that she does not want to discuss her personal life.
