Tommaso Cioni has been grabbing attention since Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped. Amid this, his alleged neighbour shared an update, revealing from where he is getting support!
Nancy Guthrie's kidnapping case has been grabbing the attention. She was last spotted at her home on January 31, 2026, and it was on February 1, 2026, when a missing-persons report was filed. Since then, a search mission has been going on, and it was on February 10, 2026, when the first photo of the alleged kidnapper was released, and it was shared that 'a person of interest' was detained.
Amid all this, Nancy's son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, grabbed all the attention, since he was the last person to see Nancy. He also received a ransom note. The attention on Tommaso Cioni was shifted since the time the journalist, Ashleigh Banfield, said that he might be a prime suspect in this case. Following this, back-to-back research on his and Annie's home took place. So much so that after the masked-up individual's photo was released, people ended up assuming that it was Tommaso, however, these are all assumptions, and nothing has been confirmed yet. Now, a self-proclaimed neighbour of Tommaso shared an update about this case.
An independent journalist, who has been tracking Nancy Guthrie's kidnapping case, recently talked to a woman, who claimed to be Tommaso Cioni's neighbour. As per the neighbour, Tommaso has been getting the support of his school, Basis. The woman revealed that she herself didn't go to the Basis School, where Tommaso is an educator.
As per her, her friend's kids go to the school, and from that source, the woman, who claimed to be Tommaso's neighbour, said that the entire school is rallying behind him. To mention, journalist Ashleigh Banfield said that Tommaso may be a person of interest, but it is possible that the victim's family member was investigated, given that he was the last one to drive Nancy home after dinner. The self-proclaimed neighbour of Tommaso said:
"This woman says she knows Tommaso Cioni from the Basis School & says the school is rallying behind him. She was talking while I was LIVE. Woman says she is a neighbor of Nancy Guthrie."
Tommaso Cioni is the husband of Annie Guthrie, and he is reportedly an educator who teaches Biology in a public school. Reportedly, he is also a creative thinker. Be it Annie or Tommaso, they often remain away from public attention, and the abduction of Nancy Guthrie brought them into the spotlight. Tommaso received a ransom note, demanding USD 4 million in Bitcoin for Nancy's safe return.
The deadline was February 5, 2026, which has passed, and following this, another ransom note was shared with the local stations, demanding USD 6 million in Bitcoin, with the deadline being February 9, 2026, which also now has seemingly passed. Now, the ransom notes revealed that the abductor is from Tucson, given the fact that he/she/they had the proper information about the locality. It was said in the note that Nancy would be returned home within 12 hours of the transaction. It is also reportedly revealed that the Guthries hired a private investigator to handle this case, while the search mission is on, and more than 100 people are working on the same, along with the FBI.
