Is TV actress, Disha Parmar pregnant again two years after welcoming first child? Her husband, Rahul Vaidya addressed the ongoing speculations and revealed the truth.
Singer, Rahul Vaidya and his wife, Disha Parmar are one of the most admired couples of the Indian television industry. Apart from making headlines for their professional life, the two have often grabbed eyeballs for their dreamy love story and happy married life. After years of togetherness, Disha and Rahul welcomed their first child in 2023. Well, now reports are claiming that the actress is pregnant again.
For those who do not know, multiple reports and fans have been speculating that Rahul and Disha might be expecting their second child. Amid this, the singer came forward and revealed the truth behind all the rumours. During a recent interview with Telly Chakar, the Bigg Boss 14 fame explained that all the rumours are false as they are currently busy in raising their little angel. He was quoted as saying:
"Not at all... these are completely baseless rumours. We are currently busy raising our first child. And nothing can compare to that experience. Although we are certainly open to having a second child, nothing of the sort is happening right now. We aren't even thinking about a second baby at this moment."
For those who do not know, on September 20, 2023, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar embraced parenthood with the birth of their little angel. Four days later, on September 24, 2023, Rahul took to his Instagram handle to share a heartfelt video, in which he can be seen bringing the little one home. Along with it, he penned a special note, which could be read as:
"23rd sept 2023 will be the most special day in our lives! Couldn't have asked for a better birthday when the wife and baby came home. Is saal Ganesh Chaturthi mein hamare ghar Laxmi ji aayi hain.. Dada dadi aur bua ne ghar mein aarti karke swagat kiya."
Months later, in November 2023, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar shared a joint post on Instagram, in which they revealed the name of their little one. For the unversed, the couple named their daughter, Navya. Rahul and Vaidya had shared wholesome photos from the naamkaran ceremony. On February 19, 2024, the couple revealed the face of their princess. In 2023, Rahul once shared:
"We have kept her name, Navya, the meaning is someone worthy of being praised. Coincidentally, we didn't decide on names for the baby boy as somewhere I had the intuition that we would welcome Lakshmiji home. So we had already decided on two names, Navya and Meera. Both Disha and I like Navya more and we named her that."
Talking about Rahul and Disha's love story, reports claim that the two met through mutual friends and eventually felt a connection. Disha had once shared that she met Rahul during the toughest phase of her life. After staying friends for a while, it was during Rahul's journey on Bigg Boss 14, where he realised his feelings for the actress.
During the reality show, the singer proposed to Disha by wearing a T-shirt that said, 'Marry Me?' Later, when Disha entered the show, she accepted Rahul's proposal. In 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony. It is worth mentioning that ever since their wedding, the two have never missed a single chance to shower love on each other. The duo often shares lovey-dovey posts for each other on Instagram.
