The first three episodes will be released on March 18, 2026. Amid the buzz, let’s find out what to expect from Invincible Season 4.
The popular series, Invincible Season 4, created by Robert Kirkman, is already the talk of the town. The much-awaited series is all set to premiere on March 18, 2026. 'Mark Grayson', the heart of the series, is returning with a new set of challenges in the new season. As per reports, the story of Invincible Season 4 will kick off right after the aftermath of 'Mark's' fierce battle with 'Conquest', the long-lived warrior from the Viltrum Empire.
While the audience in the earlier season witnessed 'Mark's' victory over 'Conquest', the aftermath of the fight was devastating. Cities were left in ruins, and the close relationships were fractured. According to a report by Radio Times, the upcoming season of Invincible will likely adapt the Viltrumite War, the final climactic tussle between the Coalition of Planets and the Viltrum Empire. In Season 4, the audience will witness 'Mark' facing new threats from beyond Earth, while still struggling to rebuild his life after the fight with 'Conquest'.
However, the showstopper of Invincible Season 4 is 'Thragg', the grand Regent of the Vitrum Empire. For the unversed, the powerful and ruthless villain, 'Thragg', has been introduced in Season 4. Speaking about the following, Robert Kirkman, in a recent interview with Games Radar, confirmed that the audience would finally witness the new threat to 'Mark' in Season 4. Sharing what to expect in Invincible Season 4, Robert Kirkman said:
"We couldn't be more excited about how much of a culmination of the first three seasons this is going to feel like. There's this Viltrumite subplot that's been running through all the seasons that pays off in some really huge ways this year. Fans are always asking for more Omni-Man, and more Coalition of Planets, and more Allen and all that stuff. The focus was on establishing Mark and building Mark as a character and showing what's going on on Earth. But this season is different. This season, people are finally going to get what they're asking for."
Lee Pace is a renowned American actor who earned a 2008 Emmy nomination for his role as 'Ned' in the TV series, Pushing Daisies. Invincible creator, Robert Kirkman casted Lee as the voice for the character, 'Thragg'. In the same interview, Robert called Lee a great actor and mentioned that the team couldn’t think of anyone else except him for the character, 'Thragg's' voice. Robert was quoted as saying:
"Lee Pace is just the greatest. We couldn't think of another actor to play Thragg. He was our first choice, only choice, and we couldn't be more thrilled that he was able to come in and do it."
Speaking about his role, Lee, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, said that he never portrayed a voice-to-character like 'Thragg'. He shared a glimpse of the character’s look. He added that 'Thragg' has a lot of depth. He was quoted as saying:
"Let me just start with that he looks cool as hell! The character looks so badass. As I was learning more about the story we were setting up, what I saw was a character with a lot of depth and a lot of different extremes. He goes through a lot. I don't want to say too much about that because we're just at the beginning of it, but I've also never done anything like this before. I've never done a voice-to-character like this."
