In the videos, the former national champion made several shocking allegations against well-known former Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski, also known as Coach K. He claimed that Mike had set him up and ignored his personal calls for help.
He also claimed that people were trying to actively interfere with his life and personal finances. Amid this, another cryptic post made by Kyle where he claimed he feared for his life, has resurfaced.
In a video posted by Kyle Singler on Instagram, he made a tragic revelation about his personal life. A shirtless Kyle slowly shared the story of how he has been mistreated and abused. He claimed that he had been made into a "mental example" and that he fears for his life every day. Kyle believed that even though he was only trying to be helpful, people in his community would look at him as if he was trying to make things difficult for them. In his words:
“I have been mistreated and abused, neglected, made into a mental example. And I fear for my life every day. And people in my community make me look out as if I'm going to be someone that's going to be a problem and make things difficult for people when I'm only trying to be helpful.”
Kyle Singler further said in the video, “I feel like I have a certain way about myself and strength and purpose that does not get valued or get treated properly.” After about 90 seconds, his video cut off abruptly, leaving not only fans but also a number of NBA players concerned about him. For instance, Kevin Love showed his support by writing, “I love you, Kyle. Hit me whenever. Please.”
Andre Drummond wrote, “You aren't alone, brother! I'm here for you.” Later, Kevin Love shared a lengthy message on social media, encouraging everyone to shower Kyle Singler with some love. His note read:
"To everyone who has spent time with Kyle Singler and whose lives he has touched - please shower him with the love and support he needs and deserves. I would not be who I am today without him. I am forever indebted and love him.”
In the three videos that Kyle Singler recently posted, he accused Coach Mike, stating that he “set me up.” Throughout the clips, the former NBA star said that people have broken into his home, taken his money, and compromised his accounts. Kyle repeatedly claimed that he felt unable to leave his residence.
Kyle Singler questioned where Coach K was when he needed him the most. Kyle revealed that everybody else has turned the other way. In one of the clips, he can also be heard saying that his “life’s on the line” after asking the coach for help. He claimed that Duke was “begging for his money” and “trying to kill me.” He said:
“Coach, you got a former player being mistreated and abused, and you ain't do nothing, man. Help out.”
In the third video that Kyle Singler posted on Instagram, he continued the same theme by saying that his accounts are “hijacked and frozen.” He said that he was locked in his house and had no freedom anymore.
According to Kyle, he has attempted to contact his former coach many times and accused him of being “deflective,” as well as leaving people behind. It is worth mentioning that Kyle’s videos provide no evidence to prove that whatever he is saying is true.
