Popular Odia singer, Humane Sagar’s untimely death at 34 has sent shock waves through the entire Odia music industry. Sagar was rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on October 14, 2025 and was admitted to the ICU. On November 17, 2025, the popular singer passed away. Doctors later confirmed that he died due to multi-organ dysfunction syndrome.
After the tragic news of Humane Sagar’s death, people have been revisiting the singer’s Instagram handle, and his last post is going viral. The singer’s last post on November 7, 2025, featured Humane singing the song, Bhagya Rekha. The song was featured in the 2024 Odia album, Bhagya Rekha. Humane’s fans have reacted to the singer’s last Instagram post with emotional comments.
Humane Sagar was suffering from various health-related issues. When his condition deteriorated on October 14, 2025, the singer was rushed to the hospital. As per a report in TOI, Humane was brought to the hospital in a critical condition and was transferred to the medical ICU. Several tests were conducted on him, but his health kept declining.
On November 17, 2025, he passed away after his condition worsened, leaving his huge fanbase in complete shock and disbelief. An official bulletin issued by AIIMS Bhubaneswar stated that he was suffering from several serious illnesses, including multi-organ dysfunction syndrome, acute-on-chronic liver failure, bilateral pneumonia, and dilated cardiomyopathy with serious left ventricular systolic dysfunction.
A few hours before the singer’s death, his wife, Shriya Mishra, had spoken to the media standing outside the hospital and shared an update on Humane’s health. She had revealed that the singer had recovered a bit in the first 48 hours; however, there had been no major updates in the past 24 hours. In her words:
“Just half an hour ago, we had consulted the doctor. The doctor told us that in the past 72 hours, he had recovered 10% in the first 48 hours. Now, in the last 24 hours, no visible recovery is there, so doctors are trying and putting in their best efforts. Right now, all things rest on God. Now, we can't see any scope or scenario of airlifting him."
Born in Titlagarh, Humane ventured into the music industry through the title song of the movie, Ishq Tu Hi Tu. Over the years, Humane has sung more than 150 songs, including Sunn Zara, Tum Mo Love Story, Sehzadi O Sehzadi, Pyar Bala Hichki, and more. He released an album in Hindi called Mera Yeh Jahan.
